It could add another thread to the premeditated theory? (and perhaps why the scream was heard by the neighbour - less building to muffle the noise) SE wakes up around lunch time and looks out to find MS messing with the summerhouse...could he even have started removing parts of it if she was refusing to pay? (hence the dismal appearance!) SE goes out to confront him, they argue and he strangles her. (I'm sure the MSM articles made a point of the fact that the police removed what looked like a phone charging cable from the summer house in an evidence bag)

This sounds like a likely theory to me

SE's sister has posted this link on Facebook (publicly available) and commented that "Story full of lies again, my sister wouldn’t have wanted this"

Ex-fiance's heartbreaking tribute to 'murdered' midwife Samantha Eastwood as friends and family hold candlelit vigil

A comment posted beneath GE's post says:

"Full of lies .... who ever proof read this wants sacking . Gemma and John split up after 7 years ???? . Media are evil . Ignore it as much as you can . I'm so sorry for your loss . Enough pain for you and your family ... without the media adding their bit too . Fly high samantha *advertiser censored*"

Apart from the mistakes I wonder which parts they feel are lies

I can't many factual statements in that argument.

I hadn't read the article til now. This bit seems noteworthy too:

Grief-stricken Gemma Eastwood, youngster sister of the much loved midwife, 28, had asked people to light a candle to help extinguish "the darkness of this tragedy” as she vowed: “The evil people who did this will not win.”

Re the Sun - i should have been clearer, for example

Not many facts in the article to dispute:
Is the lie about "7 years?" ( That came from friends/midwife)
or "police say they were alerted 20 minutes later." ( both midwife & police say that.)
or "split up in January" ( Could have been earlier?)

Maybe I've missed it.
Anyway GE must be very, very angry right now - I know I would be.

Was it that The Sun has cobbled together an article from a series of Facebook comments, earlier newspaper reports and photos to create the impression that GE has had an interview with The Sun? Wouldn't be the first newspaper to do that.

Maybe the article has been stitched together using facebook posts or comments and so GE is saying they havnt been interviewed

Yes I found that bit interesting too. Rather specific, using the plural term.

I thought GE was angry about them using her name instead of SEs...

other than that, the details don't seem to differ from those that other papers have posted.

Most of us have never been in her position, (I say most because we've known a fair few WS users who have lost sisters/mums etc to violence) but I can really empathise with how angry she must feel in general and want to make that public..... especially to anyone she feels is implicated.

Has to be so much worse that you lose your 28 yr old sister to someone who was within the extended family. The trust & betrayal has to be more shattering than a "stranger killing."

Very sad again to see that midwiffery had been her dream since she was 12 and then to be robbed of that vocation only a few years after qualifying.

I missed that ..... IDK what you mean.

The more I think about it, the more bizarre this whole 'summer house' aspect becomes. Consider:
(1): SE was newly single, so why would she need (or even want) a summer house? Most newly single women would be looking to save money and downsize, not expand into their gardens by commissioning summer houses, especially when they no longer had anyone in their life with whom to enjoy said summer house.
(2): <modsnip>
(3): (1) and (2) clearly defy all logic, which leads me to speculate that an unrequitedly besotted MS might have foisted this summer house on SE, as a surprise but unwanted gift. Looking at the photographic evidence, this shoddy artefact looks like something he could've knocked up in an afternoon, while SE was at work...and when she came home to find this ghastly edifice blighting her hitherto humble but charming garden, it would've provoked the same kind of outrage and revulsion cat owners experience whenever their pets honour them with a decapitated bird in the airing cupboard. So maybe SE insisted he remove it, MS was heartbroken at her ingratitude, and things escalated rapidly from there?

It may be that SE and JP had planned on getting the summerhouse together before the breakup (and there could have been a mate's rates agreement with MS, which he then withdrew).
