I really don't see how he can get away with it with the blood evidence in the cellar. I really wish here in the UK we would be more open to the public with evidence and the trial. It bugs me every time.
There's one thing... If he gets found guilty the rest of them are going to be crapping themselves lol..

Tempted to go get myself a new job as a reporter, take one for the team :giggle:

Poor lass doesn't even have a reporter interested. No tweets, nothing. Why?

I'm not confident we're even going to find out the verdicts.

I've just messaged the YEP and BBC Look North, so will see what they say!!

A MAN and his friend have been been found guilty of murdering his wife before dumping her body in woodland in Leeds and setting it alight. A Leeds Crown Court jury has convicted 27-year-old Akshar Ali and his friend Yasmin Ahmed of murdering 26-year-old Sinead Wooding at a house in Leeds before disposing of her body in woods near a lane in Alwoodley.

The jury unanimously found Ali, of Scott Hall Road, Leeds, and his friend Yasmin Ahmed, 27, guilty of murdering 26-year-old Miss Wooding at Ms Ahmed’s home Reginald Mount, Potternewton, Leeds.

The jury unanimously found Vicky Briggs, 25, of Throstle Road, Middleton, guilty of assisting an offender by helping clean up and burn material after the murder.

The jury has not yet reached verdicts on two other defendants. Mr Ali’s mother Aktahr Bi, 45, of Kings Road, Hyde Park, denies assisting an offender by making arrangements to dispose of Miss Wooding’s corpse.

His brother Asim Ali, 21, of Kings Road, Hyde Park, also denies assisting an offender by procuring a vehicle and assisting in the disposal and burning of her body.

Upon further questioning (your honour) of the YEP about lack of reporting:

We have been to the case several times - Mark is not our usual court reporter so it has been Tony [surname redacted by me]. We attended the opening, plus the openings of both the prosecution and defence cases - there have been several stories on our website since the trial began. However, as it was due to last 6 weeks, we could not send a reporter to every session, as there were other cases we wished to cover being heard at the same time.

Sentencing tomorrow:

Trial (Part Heard) - Case to be listed for Sentence on 17-Jan-2018 - 15:20

Jurors are still deliberating its verdicts on three other defendants:

  • Mr Ali's mother Aktahr Bi, 45, denies assisting an offender by procuring a vehicle and assisting in the disposal of Ms Wooding's corpse
  • His brother Asim Ali, 21, denies assisting an offender by procuring a vehicle and assisting in the disposal and burning of her body
  • A fifth defendant, Vicky Briggs, 25, denies assisting an offender by helping to clean up and burn material after the murder

BIB? I guess that's just a mistake.
