Fashionista ariel (lol) says, would have liked to see SL wear either a brooch or scarf with her suit jacket as too plain of a look, and also, orange or red pumps for a nice pop of color for fall... even green would be perfect! KR need not worry about ws, as she won't be smiling much. Definitively, this of course is a matter of opinion. :)

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — The Kamas child book author accused of killing her husband appeared in court again on Friday.

In a crowded Summit County courtroom, Kouri Richins sat next to her lawyers, wearing black. Ronnie Darden was there to support his sister.

"We're getting really worried for Kouri and her emotional state," Ronnie said. "She's not being allowed to have visits right now. We're getting really worried with the way she's being treated in there."

Darden said one of the hardest things for his sister is not being able to see her children.

I believe it is worse that the children will never see their father in this life again.
Give it up.

Actions have consequences.

Yes, on the fall-themed pumps! Isn't that lace on her blouse, though? I'm thinking a cameo might be a little much. How did she rate with the earrings this time around?

I'm thinking we'll see the funereal look from this time forward. Poor Skye is trying an all-but-death-sentence charge and defending a client who's got a death wish when it comes to flaunting her "cleverness".

FWIW after all the jail-house revelations, KR is never going to be able to claim ineffective assistance of counsel: it's clear Skye is wrestling with a balky, unrepentant, entitled, demanding client every moment. And KR pretty much acknowledges Skye's hand-holding in all her ramblings.

The court also denied the state’s attempt to restrict Richins from communicating with her mother and brother, upholding her First Amendment rights.
IMO no need for the state to spill tears over this: Kouri is very skilled at dropping new evidence in jailhouse calls.

They should prohibit video, though, since she once held up a piece of paper for her mom to read.

Prosecutor proposes no contact between KR and her mother and brother unless in the presence of counsel.

Defense Lawyer Skye Lazaro says that the prosecution has not shown probable cause for witness tampering.

Isn't it interesting that Kouri just can't accept the fact that prisoners ARE treated differently - they are NOT afforded all rights that a person outside of prison has - freedom is limited!
