This has to be so very hard on ML parents. So little information is out there already then you have LE trickling what ever information they have been able to gather up. If I was her mother they would have to lock me up in a mental hospital while this ongoing investigation is slow going on. If not I'd probably start shaking people down my own damn self. Why why why didn't LE jump on this sooner and error on the side of caution . I'm sure no one would sue them for being concerned. But when family and friends are all telling you that even if she is an adult none of these actions area in character with the kind of person they all know her to be. Had they have listened to this and acted on investigating early ML may have been home with her family and this could all be over.

The last time I took a cab there were none around. Again no place to hang out and wait for fares. I had to call for a taxi and wait at the curb for it to show up. I think now there is a booth that houses an employee that will call a ride for you.

I believe that the airport/parking lot area is still undergoing some major construction, which could also contribute to a wait for a taxi/Uber/Lyft.

She was most likely gone before LE became involved. She was not reported missing for days.

I also looked at KL's FB and did not see him listed as a Friend which I found interesting.

Has anyone found a FB profile for the POI ? PLEASE DON'T POST IT - I went looking and couldn't find one. It just might be gone now anyway.

As a guy who's job is in computers and IT he would know how to minimize his digital footprint and could possibly explain why KL's phone was powered off so quickly upon meeting up with her "ride".

Sometimes people don't go by their full last name......some only use 2 letters of their last name. IYKWIM :p

Several network reporters kept vigil last night at the scene of searched residence, hoping to capture any breaking news.

Around 6 AM or shift change, a morning reporter tweeted that a vehicle usually associated with the ME had also been seen at the residence-- but was now gone, along with most of the investigators.

In other words, there was no report of the ME being at present at the residence.

For what it's worth, I too kept vigil and observed when a SLCPD marked van (similar to a ME van) backed up the driveway, and numerous brown evidence bags and boxes of evidence were loaded in the van by investigators before it was driven away.

I understand from the presser, this is still a missing person investigation.

ETA: If another MSM report citing the ME present has since been published, please add the link and I'll stand corrected.
 
I just saw an Insta screenshot, and the bed poi posted up for free looks very similar to the one in the room with the rawhide chair. There are sheets on it of course. It has that pillow toppy look. Of course this is the height of speculation, but....
