Good comment - but we already know. Abandon one young child (Giselle) without resources in the Ukraine (& steal her identity & monetize it), farm the other young children to a family in California and instruct Alexis to have no further contact with the family. The son Damian has already killed himself. Remaining are Rachel and Vanessa - both grown and with significant problems.

But -- MM did allocate $1 to each of the children.

Really. He's sorry for himself because he feels he deserved to have his Gypsy as his wife and to be left alone. As he wrote, essentially, it was all worth it-- murdering his wife-- to have her.
