O/T but I want to say that I've really appreciated that we have been able to express some levity with laughter through these threads, and I hope you know what I mean - not laughing at the expense of a victim, just laughing to let go of some stress. There have been some very witty posts that evoked LOLs. I would love to pull together some of my favorites into a doc ... if only I had the time to go back through the threads. Maybe some day soon .....

Not picking on you in particular, but I think we're reading too much into these photos. First of all, AJ posted them to her own flickr. If she was really as uncomfortable as we all infer, why would she post it for the world to see? Those two pics seem to be from a a school event, maybe 8th grade graduation (June 2010)? She may have just been emotional.

And this is in no way a defense of WH. I do think the hug is inappropriate, but it doesn't seem like AJ thought so.

Could she have had braces and didn't want to show them in the pics?

I'm not saying that's what I think happened...I'm just saying anything is possible. We just don't have the first clue, really.

As for the masks...I really don't know. Meth is a possibility, filth is a possibility, animals getting into the house and setting up shop, stale air from being shut up for 2 years...I dunno.

I'm sending a HUGE thank you to you, too. Love what you do and wish you great success. Keep us posted, I think you're awesome and I'll never forget your PM to me, very encouraging. I got an early start in life with bad scenarios and I personally wish I had gone into some kind of work in this field as well. My husband said he is glad I didn't because I would be a sobbing, blubbering fool all the time. He said "you can't even go into a pet store or look for a missing cat without crying" and he's probably right. Kudos to you!!

Let me ask though, if the deceased found on that property is who we all assume it is, and the person who put them there is the person many of us assume it is, how is patrolling the highways and city streets going to prevent this from happening again?

As far as I'm concerned, every single member of LE on site today is exactly where he or she should be, doing exactly what they're being paid to do. And God richly bless them for it.

Exactly, you're assuming. What if it isn't? What if he's on the run? On the highway where state police should be? All I see in that video is 2 groups of police standing around doing nothing. Special units and investigative units is a different story. Not these guys just standing around.

Agree 100%!
Not all crimes are alike and not all criminals can be rehabilitated.
And a final note.. DRUGS. They destroy lives. IMO

I hope you get the outreach internship at the NCMEC. The thought of how many #MissingAngels you could (and would) help with your skill set takes my breath away.

I can recall one off the top of my head - Abraham Shakespeare. The perp - who was a member here and posted on his thread - buried Abraham on her property and had her ex-husband pour concrete over the grave. The ex didn't know. There are others but I'd have to dig for names. I think Fred and Rosemary West buried a few victims at their house.

The neighbors said activity there by this car was unusual, they never said they saw a person, in the MSM interview. This was an old place, a place of safe oddness and ritual he was usually more careful going to probably, less noticeable, it may be possible?
