I've been playing catch up and working backwards. There have been many times I wanted to comment but the thread had been long closed. Lol
Recently, what I've done, is view the videos of a few people that have not been mentioned on here, yet have been interviewed. It has been enlightening to say the least. We all have analyzed the WH interview, and some of JH, as well. But I am now analyzing EVERYONE that has spoken on the news. Like I said, it's been enlightening.

I didn't follow this case from the absolute beginning, but started a week or so ago (maybe longer than that as it took a long time to catch up on old threads). I've mainly lurked and only started commenting recently.

I've been suspicious of WH and only him for the murder itself. I do see where an accomplice during the cover-up portion is likely. I think WH likes to have buddies around him and can picture him pulling in someone to help, but I don't think it's a sure thing that there was an accomplice.

JMO.

The GoPro thing seems like it must be important for some reason. I'm assuming maybe the cops searched through his computer and wanted to know why he researched it for two hours. He came up with the lie that AJ wanted it and that's why he was researching it but he had actually bought one and placed it in the house so he could spy on JH (or AJ). He has control issues and had moved out. He seems like the type who would plant a camera in order to watch JH and make sure she hasn't moved on and been seeing someone else. What if AJ found the camera that morning in the house, realized he was filming them and left to confront him? She would probably have searched everywhere messing up parts of the house to see if there were other cameras. He may have killed her to cover up what he had been doing. Then WH returned later in the red truck to get the camera and clean up the areas she had searched, explaining why there were strange parts of the house cleaned up?

Gosh, it's because he was questioned for 15 hours by LE. He told us himself, that LE accused him of know where to fine AJ.

Ive been questioned by a team of detectives before. 6 of them in fact, for a couple of hours. A couple of them wrote down answers while the other 4 fired off new questions at me so fast I didnt know up from down. Even the slightest deviation from previous answers brought a new barrage of questions.

I like to think of myself as a smart guy and I hope my posts and responses back that up.Im also very proud of the fact that I have a 3.8 GPA in college at 45 years of age........ but I was in tears after just one hour and had confessed everything bad that Id ever done (which thankfully wasnt much) shortly thereafter.

WH is either lying or exaggerating about the time and I feel confident in saying that 15 hours would have had him crying for his momma and confessing everything he knows. ......LONG before that actually. Hes not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, judging from his interviews and actions.

LE agencys have rules they have to follow when interrogating suspects and Id be willing to bet you money there is a time limit as well.

The comment was made to elicit sympathy from the interviewer and the listener.

Nothing more.

JMO of course.

That is what I got from it. Dad of missing teenager being abused by the big bad LE.

Except that it backfired on him, and people realized LE probably felt the same way they did about him.

Looks like you have been busy Ontario Mom. After reading that, it would kind of make you wonder what this guy was doing out of jail.
My thoughts, too. He shouldn't have been out of jail!

Just joining in, you all are great! Have been trying to catch up on this thread for a very looong time and still a few behind.
Could one of them be checking/ bank accounts? Sorry if already suggested.

Good thinking. Bank records are almost always among the first thing LE looks at, of missing people. I do believe a warrant is mandatory for such a request.

Wow!

I just got out of class and finished catching up on the thread.

3 things jump out at me immediately:

1. Probable cause is needed for a search warrant in Virginia. I copied the part of the code that pertains to this.

"The warrant shall (i) name the affiant, (ii) recite the offense in relation to which the search is to be made, (iii) name or describe the place to be searched, (iv) describe the property or person to be searched for, and (v) recite that the magistrate has found probable cause to believe that the property or person constitutes evidence of a crime (identified in the warrant) or tends to show that a person (named or described therein) has committed or is committing a crime."

The rest can be found here

2. I know you guys have made a list of things pertaining to items, vehicles and places WH may have been associated with, but thats still one hell of a lot of sealed search warrants.

In comparison JLM was served with just 2 in the HG case if my memory serves correctly

3. IMO needing this many search warrants, can mean that more people are involved or that WH moved AJ to multiple locations.

I would be very surprised if a suspect or suspects arent named and charged in the coming week.
Thank you for the code on the search warrant.

Per the link (thanks to the member https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmGbcaiyIGU&app=desktop ) at the 130 mark it states no suspects have been named and in all at least 15 search warrants have been executed. So to me that is search warrants since beginning of case not New correct.

I am curious about the other pieces of cards found and other bits shown in the ziploc bag during the family's search down the street. I wonder if WH went through the trash(if stored outside) of Texty's house and took some things to frame him; when that didn't work WH then proceeded onto clothes dump and Jacket planting. MOO

BBM
Who said strange parts of the house were cleaned up? And how would they know that if they supposedly weren't there or around?

From what I understand, a request for a warrant has to have supporting evidence to convince the judge of probable cause. The judge looks over the evidence presented for probable cause and either issues the warrant or... denies it, and essentially says "show me more evidence". I'm probably not sharing anything here many don't already know. I just think it's curious AT LEAST 15 of them have already been issued. That tells me the various LE agencies investigating this crime have LOADS of probable cause that we don't know anything about yet.

Might be a silly question, But since I'm on the opposite coast line I'm wondering if there is truly a need for sprinkler repair during the winter in Va?
Not on the west coast , during the winter, with snow on the ground, and freezing temps. Maybe it's different in Va? Anybody?

They also do the sprinkler systems in businesses (think fire sprinkler system)

Apples and oranges. If you have a problem, take it up with a mod or admin in a pm.

The decision was made weeks ago for reasons I won't list now. If you've been following the threads, you already know them. Keep in mind that circumstances vary from case to case, and the mods and admin exercise their discretion when making decisions on what is allowed and what is not.

Thank you bessie. I tried to explain it but probably didn't do the decision justice. This is just SO different than most cases. ugh. :gaah:

I totally agree that the GoPro is significant. I have no idea what the significance is, but I don't think it was a throw-away comment WH made about the GoPro. Part of me hopes the camera has been disposed of and we'll never know what it means because I really don't want to know what DH filmed. But, I think the camera plays a role somewhere.

JMO.

I'd probably all aboard the WH train if there wasn't something/one else that had my attention.

Someone else has my attention as well so I understand (I think?). Actually, 3 others have my attention but I have nothing but "hinky meter going off the charts" to back it up.

http://www.vdh.state.va.us/medExam/FriendsFamilyFAQ.htm

<My loved one/family member/friend has recently passed away and is at the medical examiner’s office. What happens next? Once the deceased has arrived at the medical examiner’s office, an autopsy or an external examination called a “view” will be performed, usually within 24 hours. However, if the case arrives during weekend hours the examination may be performed within 48 hours depending on when the body arrived and the number of cases on hand. The legal next of kin should contact a funeral home or crematorium as soon as he or she learns of the death to make final arrangements and sign a written release giving the medical examiner’s office permission to release the body to the funeral home. Once the examination/investigation has been completed, the body will be released to the funeral home and arrangements can continue. In most cases the remains can be released within 24-48 hours of admittance unless there are extenuating circumstances, such as issues of identification.>

This made me think of Hannah Graham.... and Morgan Harrington, did anyone ever see the final Toxology reports? They must keep them under wraps, when an investigation is taking place.

Unfortunately, you cannot convict a person of murder because it's the most simple, most obvious answer.

The most obvious scenarios, I am certain, are being/have been investigated first. IMO, it's almost never the most obvious, most simple scenario when a young life is taken. Even if it does end up being the most obvious person. Occam's razor is a good principle to apply when listing theories to rule out, but doesn't really usually pan out in entirety.
