Maybe people are thinking white truck because the lady in the WAVY video said she saw a white truck in the driveway twice at the house where AJ was found? I'm thinking that maybe she is interchanging truck and van maybe she's just using them as one in the same but maybe she did mean truck, who knows. Wish we could ask her.

I use the term truck loosely.. Even a beat up SUV might be considered a truck to me. I drive a small SUV and my mom either refers to it as "your escape" or "the truck" If it seems like a work van I might just say truck. I don't know why.. Even thinking about it now makes me feel silly lol

But I've heard some people refer to their own van as a "truck." I've even heard the term "truck" used to describe a Lincoln Navigator SUV by the owner.

Yeah, people call my SUV a "truck" all the time (it's not a Lincoln Navigator, btw lol.) I thought it was weird at first, but I've caught myself doing it as well :blushing:

ETA: Sorry to add to the million posts about this truck stuff -- I was late to the party! BUT I will add, that I really call a truck a pickup, as in "Throw it in the back of the pickup!" But that's from growin up in the country! LOL

If indeed WH is the person LE thinks murdered Anjelica, how long until they name him a suspect? I've never followed a case where the potential perp was already jailed for other charges. Just for the record, I do believe he is responsible IMO.

Also, has anyone local heard how the dog he punched is doing? I am an animal lover and I wonder about this every day, hoping the dog is okay.

As soon as a prosecutor says "ok" this is enough evidence. He will issue a warrant.

As far as "Pretty Dog", I don't really know if that's her name, but it sounds good to me. We have know idea how she is doing. It would be nice if everyone here drafted a letter, and sent it to a local Norfork media outlet, and made them find out for us though.

My sister calls her SUV a truck and I've heard lots of contractors refer to their vans as "work trucks." I agree, I think it adds masculinity lol

Deputies have already processed the scene and are now working with the local medical examiner to identify the remains. The sheriff’s office hopes the public can help them identify the woman, based on a tattoo on her lower right leg, just above the ankle.

The tattoo is of a Hawaiian phrase, “Wahine Ikaika,” and a Hawaiian flower.

The woman is described as being about 30-years-old and 5-foot-7, with dark shoulder-length hair.

UPDATED: 6:01 p.m.: The Isle of Wight Sheriff's Office found a dead female at Hatcher's Lane, which is off of Courthouse Highway, on Friday.

The woman is white, about 30 years old and 5 feet and 6 inches to 5 feet and 8 inches tall with dark, shoulder-length hair, according to the sheriff's office. The sheriff's office is releasing information about the victim in hopes of identifying her, the press release said.

She has a tattoo on her lower right leg, above the ankle, with a phrase and flowers at each end. The phrase is believed to say, "Wahine Ikaika," which could translate to mean "strong woman" or "woman warrior" in Hawaiian. The flower is blue-gray and believed to be a Hawaiian Hibiscus, which is the state flower of Hawaii.

Eileen, my wife calls my Jeep a truck.

Ya know, this really bugs me. LE from several different agencies were just out that way. Someone must of thought it wouldn't be suspicious now, OR, she was in an area they didn't search.
Does anyone know of any missing person cases with a description similar to hers?

I don't think this is related to AJ in any way

what is "WOLF" media?

It was just a figure of speech, like the animal wolf. Lol, no it's not a new media company in Norfork.

Maybe it was stupid. Lol

(((Zach))) thanks for the pictures!! you and all of AJ's family are in my thoughts and prayers!!

This was in our local paper and on the Longwood U FBook page. I plan on going (Mon Apr. 20--candlelight vigil).

There will be a candlelight memorial service for Anjelica "A.J." Hadsell on Monday, April 20 at 8 p.m. between the Health & Fitness Center and Frazer Hall. Hadsell was a freshman who went missing while on spring break, and was a member of the club softball and field hockey teams. President Reveley and other members of the Longwood community will speak and celebrate A.J.'s all-too-brief time here...
