Deputies have already processed the scene and are now working with the local medical examiner to identify the remains. The sheriffs office hopes the public can help them identify the woman, based on a tattoo on her lower right leg, just above the ankle.
The tattoo is of a Hawaiian phrase, Wahine Ikaika, and a Hawaiian flower.
The woman is described as being about 30-years-old and 5-foot-7, with dark shoulder-length hair.

UPDATED: 6:01 p.m.: The Isle of Wight Sheriff's Office found a dead female at Hatcher's Lane, which is off of Courthouse Highway, on Friday.
The woman is white, about 30 years old and 5 feet and 6 inches to 5 feet and 8 inches tall with dark, shoulder-length hair, according to the sheriff's office. The sheriff's office is releasing information about the victim in hopes of identifying her, the press release said.
She has a tattoo on her lower right leg, above the ankle, with a phrase and flowers at each end. The phrase is believed to say, "Wahine Ikaika," which could translate to mean "strong woman" or "woman warrior" in Hawaiian. The flower is blue-gray and believed to be a Hawaiian Hibiscus, which is the state flower of Hawaii.
