However, the article also mentions that truckers are frequently involved in passing around flyers. I think it would be a great idea to get them in the hands of as many as possible.

I have been trying to figure that question out for a long time. I've brought it up a few times. I think she is self employed. She actually could have been at home a lot that day. If her younger girls were in school, there would have been no one else in the home to verify whether JH was or was not in and out of that house all day. No one has even mentioned another employer that could vouch for her whereabouts that day.

Another thing that niggles at me is the family dynamic. WH only became her stepdad in 2010. And she goes to him for money instead of Mom? I think that is a little odd because kids usually go to their bio parent as opposed to their stepparent for $, in my experience.

I agree. My son messages both me and sometimes his step-father (of 10 years) when he needs haircut money or mentions it. I can maybe think of 1 time he didn't. I'm the one that usually the one that passes on the message to my hubby if he is out and can get money from the bank or I transfer money. Maybe WH happened to already have money on him and that is why they met out somewhere.

I posted earlier but messed up the dates so bad it was ridiculous so here we go again...

Looking over AJ's twitter activity https://twitter.com/anjelicamariee tells me she was very active on twitter. Pretty much every day, and pretty much tagged the same people in her tweets and was tagged by the same people. Her very last twitter activity was Sunday night, March 1st around 10:30pm. After that there was nothing.

Mom says she saw her at 7am Monday, March 2nd.
Step-dad meets her to give her some case Monday around 12:45
Mom gets weird texts early Tuesday (March 3rd) morning
Step dad gets okay emoji on the 3rd.

Oddly enough, all twitter activity stopped Sunday night at 10:30. That certainly doens't seem very realistic for someone who's on it every day. I question now if ANY of her friends heard from her after Sunday night?

I definitely don't believe any of those texts were from her.

I don't think so. I have seen other posts where they have asked people to go up to her and talk to her to be sure of the sighting and take her to police, not just let her walk away.

The same neighbor who saw the mysterious white car in the driveway? And the same neighbor who saw her earlier with the jacket on but only identified the shirt she was wearing? I'm pretty much at the "nope, I'm calling BS" point with these shifting stories. I'm sure there some truth in some of them, somewhere, but there's just WAY too much conflicting info here.

We all are very concerned about AJ. With all the conflicting information from the family coupled with no statements from LE, we are worried also. This site and its members are doing a great job trying to sort it all out.

Thursday March 5th news release:

Norfolk Police is asking the public’s help in locating a missing 18-year-old. Anjelica “AJ” Hadsell was last seen on March 3, 2015 around 5:30 am at her parent’s home in the Tarrallton Area of Norfolk.

Police received a tip that Anjelica was possibly seen on the Campus of Virginia Commonwealth University yesterday March 4, 2015.

At this time, Norfolk Detectives have no indication of foul play, however, they are actively searching for her, and ask anyone who knows the whereabouts of Anjelica Hadsell, or who have seen her in the last 24 hours, are encouraged to call Norfolk Police Detectives at 757-664-7026 or the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

Friday March 13th

Mr. Hadsell told 10 On Your Side police have recovered pieces of his daughter’s debit card and her jacket, which a neighbor said he saw Anjelica wearing the day of her disappearance. The Norfolk Police Department has not confirmed that information, but they did tell WAVY.com they are vetting all leads. Police say they have had detectives assigned to this case every day since it was reported.

Monday March 2nd
From March 4th to March 12th, most media reported, and the official Bring AJ Home FB page said that AJ was last seen at home by her mother at 7 am, and by a neighbor around 2-2.30 pm returning home in her truck.

On Thursday March 12th, WH tells a reporter he met AJ around noon that day.

Between Thursday March 12th and Saturday March 14th Bring AJ home is edited several times to add, then remove the noon meeting, and eventually all specific times/sightings, leaving only that she was last seen Monday.

Also on Saturday March 4th, tweets from Wavy TV reporter Joe Fisher says WH met AJ at 12.45 pm on the Monday.

Tuesday March 3rd
From March 4th to March 12th, most media reported, and the official Bring AJ Home FB page said that AJ was last heard from in a text or texts to her mother at 4.30 or 5.30 am.

On Thursday March 12th, WH tells a reporter he received a text from AJ at an unspecified time Tuesday.

Saturday March 14th Bring AJ Home page is edited to remove the time and now says last heard from Tuesday.

Most sources seem to agree that AJ was reported missing at 9.15 pm Tuesday.
