Maybe I am confusing cases but didn't he give an interview early on and he said something like "I was upset and lets just say law enforcement handled me". I can't remember exact phrasing but I remember thinking the use of "handled" and how he said it stood out to me. I wonder if the resisting arrest charge happened when they "handled" him.

Great catch! He did say that in the interview.

Yes when he didn't let the LE officer explain about the jacket he just cut him off!

I do believe something they found today led to taking him into custody today!

I was thinking they had to get W to stop "searching on his own" with the ATV so they cut him off at the pass. Meaning that LE started searching where they thought he would look before he got there.
Destroying evidence.

Who is this and is this related to AJ? GLOUCESTER, Va. (WAVY) – Gloucester County Sheriff officials have discovered human remains in a wooded area in the 3000 block of George Washington Memorial Highway Saturday at 11 a.m.

It's a shame so many others on SM are reading "unrelated charges" in titles and tweets as in completely unrelated and aren't realizing since the date being post-AJ being missing means either he was involved in some other (truly totally) unrelated crime spree or that what the MSM is trying to dance around saying is that they're basically not kidnapping (or physical harm) type related charges and that LE just isn't publicly saying yet (and thus they aren't either) how they are tied to everything.

I wish some of the MSM would point out the incident date, at least...since too many are hung up on "unrelated" and aren't even looking at least at the date and don't seem to be able to connect the dots and/or read through to see what's being inferred. :gaah:

D. Any person who knowingly and willfully makes any materially false statement or representation to a law-enforcement officer or an animal control officer employed pursuant to § 3.2-6555 who is in the course of conducting an investigation of a crime by another is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.

WH may not have been arrested for being directly involved in AJ's disappearance but that charge certainly indirectly involves him IMO.

I wonder what the /headband/bracelet/raffle $$ will get spent on? If I was mom I'd be out on a shopping spree right now, spending every penny...

Gloucester is very close to West Point, no?

Could be totally unrelated ... or not. JMO.

Also...just a friendly reminder: WH has NOT been arrested for the disappearance of AJ, so you might want to follow the existing rules about WH's past, until a mod gives us the go ahead. Just trying to save us from a shut down.

Mods can easily clean up the mess if we stop here...don't discuss, don't quote to discuss. :)

THANK YOU!!

JMO, LE are not saying "unrelated charges" a reporter is. LE still haven't mentioned the arrest.

March 6th was a Friday. The next day on a Saturday was when they executed the search and (according to WH) found a jacket that they didn't show him.

It bothers me that MSM is reporting that his charges are "unrelated." I mean, yeah, at this point his charges are unrelated to her physical disappearance, but being charged for "threats of bodily harm or force ... to intimidate or impede a... law-enforcement officer" seems pretty relevant to the case.

I wonder where that took place? I guess maybe they wanted to search the location or have him come down to talk. Or maybe he was wanting to join in on the search with his 4 wheeler and made threats. That I could see.

So if the police had reason to suspect whoever was responsible was close to AJ...stating only that they are investigating and had no reason to suspect foul play makes sense....especially if you were worried about someone fleeing. Quietly work the case...wait for cell records...and boom...today happens.
