We really only know about one text in what JH described to media as a "conversation". The text message that was disclosed by JH was said to be the very last one JH received.

I would very much be interested in knowing what the other text messages in that "conversation" said.

I strongly feel the credit card "evidence" was definitely staged.

Ok. How about this.... I think WH is the type of person that needs to be alpha dog. I think that he has had a hard life, made mistakes, been beaten down, feels like because of his past he is never going to be good enough, etc... (referencing Vail's awesome - get focused post up thread). So the thirty-some guy that is bad-*advertiser censored* enough to get his eye-lids tattooed has extreme low self-esteem. Seems to me like in order to be alpha dog, he might hang out with a younger crowd. You know... the cool bad *advertiser censored* guy that the four 18 year old boys look up to... so he buys them beer and sells them some weed, makes them feel grown up because he is not the parent. So AJ is friends with these boys. She's home on spring break. Something happens when she is with one of these boys. Would one of these boys call WH in an emergency situation? Now WH is in up to his neck, but is deep down the type of guy that would help with a cover up because his narcissism (and probably an underlying mental health issue and some drug abuse) makes him think he can make it go away? Would one of AJ's friends call him for help? Zach?...

Go ahead - tear my post apart... LOL... but I think Zach is right and we need to look at everything.

I have thought of this myself so nope not going to tear it apart. But in order for him to not pummel those kids he would have had to have some part in it so you're right like he bought them the alcohol or whatever.

I am going back to the taxi driver thing.What she says in there somehow the clues are found in similar places that she mentions. The hotel locations/areas are so close to his. The Chesapeake/NC border. I can't help but think maybe someone is seeing these tips/leads and setting up something. These are her comments. I am going to link the FB page since it's a news website but not link the poster's name. Do any of THEM believe she left on her own? Did any of her friends ever have a conversation with her about this Creepy Text Dude? Was that actually legit?

Hi everyone, just got approved to post. I am a long, long time lurker but was a little intimidated to join and post all these years I've been lurking. You all are so good at what you do here and I've always been so impressed. This case brought me out of hiding.

I'm sick with all I've read about WH.

A couple points:
WH is a sociopath, no doubt.
I fear for AJ.
I don't know how anyone could possibly stand to be around WH for more than 5 minutes.
I have never seen anyone say and do the things he has done to the extent that has been documented so far.
He is completely arrogant to place himself as the contact person on her missing poster rather than LE, unbelievable!
I view JH as a victim and pray for her and Zach.
He is in jail and thank God for that, hopefully he stays there and no other members of that family can be victimized by him.

There is NO reason for her credit card to be cut up and tossed out into the street except to make it look like a robbery/abduction. The fact that her full name was left visible on a piece of the card tells us that someone wanted to be sure that whoever found this card knew that it was AJ's. It was a set up...plain and simple.

And no, I don't think it was done by this kid. (Let's not forget that this kid didn't organize the search...didn't decide WHERE to search...that was Wes.)

It's not a coincidence that WH tells us he met AJ that afternoon and gave her $200. And I don't think it's a coincidence that there's no video of him meeting AJ that afternoon at said gas station.

So, did WH do the break in to cover up if any of his DNA is there in that house? He seemed wistful when talking about the garage in the interview. Did he 'find' the clothes on the highway to cover up if any of his DNA showed up? He handled it there, as far as we know..even if he didn't, just standing over it and looking at it could conceivably leave hair or fibers from him..Is he publicly giving himself alibis in case his DNA shows up? Is that why he waited til the journalist confirmed that yes, this interview will be on TV, before admitting to the break in?

If he broke in, he tainted any potential evidence there. Could have been accidental, could have been intentional. Regardless, anything he touched that was not in the presence of LE is more than likely inadmissible, unless the evidence strictly points to him.

I wish we could too. We're not hearing from anyone. I can only come to some conclusions that people DO feel intimated by the situation or people close to AJ and are not coming forward. They feel so loyal to the family that they are afraid to go against them, or are afraid that what they say could risk the integrity of the case.

Obviously, 4 people knew about Wes's B&E and also 2 of AJ's friends were with him when he found the clothing in Chesapeake. They are very loyal to that family.

Those boys adored AJ...would do anything for her. All WH had to do was call them and say, "Got a tip. Can you come help me?" and those boys would have dropped everything. Guarantee it. These are young guys, and WH is a seasoned con artist. I think he's duped them hook line and sinker into doing exactly what he needs them to do, without question.

I saw this early on and had WH criminal history way before we were able to discuss it here (as many others did). There is a moment in the Jail House Rock interview/transcription (thanks Lucky!) where WH mentions finding her and "time running out" (something about time). I need to go find the link. Anyway, I was hoping she was being held somewhere alive and WH was going to be the one to find her..... but now he is in jail.... If that is the case he is one cold hearted SOB to not fess up.

Once again, I e-mailed Marcella Robertson at 13 News. I have been disappointed in her coverage of this story. I was really hoping she would take it and run like with Alexis Murphy. But hopefully this "media blitz" request from us at WS will spur her and other reporters to get AJ's picture and info out there. Someone knows something! Please, please, please people speak up! I pray to God!

I will say, I saw where someone from there tried to interview him after his arrest and he declined. Now that doesnt mean y ou cant do other things.

A thought just occurred to me. It may have already been mentioned in the last thread but I'm still trying to catch up.

I'm hoping LE has searched his work van too. It's quite possible WH did gain access to the house and there was an alteration between him and AJ. He would have to clean up if there was any blood spatter (sorry Zach) which would explain "the cleaning but left in a hurry" statement. The reason for the truck to be parked on the other side of the driveway is because WH moved it there himself in order to back his work van in. That would obstruct the view from one direction.

If there were prying in the opposite direction, he could have used a duffle bag (military issue???) to transport an unconscious AJ out of the house without attracting to much attention. If he was seen, and I am giving him too much credit, he could say that he was retrieving some of his belongings.
