Thank you for your response, but I am still confused. I don’t mean to be dim, but I guess I need it spelled out for me. Could you explain your position more fully? Especially…

Is your speculation that the parents of the shooter and multiple administrators were in cahoots? And also that they intentionally facilitated the violence toward AZ?
Yes. They ignored all the bells, and whistles. They 'searched' but didn't find the weapon. Seriously? The way they're treating her now is heinous, the mother talking about how her child felt ignored the day prior . Then sending him to school by himself. Weapon not secured ( I knew that alread it was so obvious). I hope she sues and wins big.

I can certainly agree with this part.

Beyond that, I find it inconceivable (on multiple levels), that the parents and administrators conspired to have the child do gun violence toward AZ. If nothing else, how could they possibly think that they would “get away with it”? And what would be the motivation for such an extreme conspiracy, with so many involved? I just can’t make those puzzle pieces fit together.

Unfortunately, WS is filled with cases that fit that description to a TEE.

The father who lined up his 3 little boys and executed them in front of their mother, is the latest, perfect example.
People DO inconceivably evil things every day.

I don't know that I agree that this happened in this case but I sure would not be surprised to learn it was true.

It doesn't make sense either that a six year old child, let that sink in was able to get a hold of the weapon, and get past the 'search' and all the alarms, and warnings. There are so many red flags it stinks to high heaven. MOO.

ITA.
But to me, that sounds like negligence/incompetence/apathy…
I see no evidence that suggests conspiracy or intent from parents and/or administrators. MOO

I agree to disagree. :)

I would hope not, but after following some true crime cases I learned the weirdest things can be true. Deja would have to be pretty tight with the school to want to plan to murder Abbey. It sounds crazy but maybe it's true.
Is Deja dealing drugs? Did Abbey know, find out? Did Abbey tell the school and they called in Deja? Threats made to the school? There's a lot we don't know.

A six-year-old getting past security does seem odd. Did they check every backpack that day? Maybe bag checks are not thorough?

Well, if they planned this face-to-face, not by text, or email no digital evidence they could have allowed for this to happen, The mom or bio dad could have given the child the loaded gun and instructed him to shoot the teacher. But what's the motive for the Admin to want Abbey wounded/harmed or dead? Just scare her so she quits?

This is true in another case of the Wagner family that executed the other family (Rhoden family) over custody of a baby. They tried to make it seem like a drug deal gone wrong. Sane, normal people do not execute an entire family with their family it's INSANITY but it happened.

Thank you for your take on this topic.
I still disagree. But your questions/the way you expounded on it allow me to better understand this perspective.

I really hope this is NOT the case, and if it is it is investigated and all parties arrested. Right now, it sounds like the mother had a loaded, unlocked gun where her six-year kid found it and brought it to school with the intention to scare or kill Abbey. His bio dad is violent according to arrest records so he may have watched his father load a gun or assault women when he was angry and learned behavior to use violence to get their way.

I don't believe that there was a conspiracy to get the 6 year old to shoot AZ, but I do think that it was probably a "perfect storm" that created the worst outcome.

The school is lucky that AZ didn't die, and that no one else was shot during the incident.

I don't think the parents cared what happened to Abby. I don't think the assistant principal cared what happened to Abby. And, obviously... the school board didn't care about Abby then... nor now. jmo

ETA: I don't think the administrators at the school "conspired" to have AZ shot by this kid. Just for clarification.

It sounded like a toxic work situation. I wonder what the other teachers think.

I don't believe that she should be sentenced to prison. Her son has enough problems. I would wish for some sort of diversion program, with intensive case management, and therapy sessions with the child. She needs parenting skills courses, mandatory drug testing, and obviously, help for her son. Prison won't solve anything here.
