I don't think so, sadly. Imo they probably bring murder charges when they find his body. Hopefully someone will talk.

Well, a lot of the articles back up what this poster is saying. It is everyone's choice to believe or not. I, for one appreciate this posters familiarlarity with the missing officer and the area. None of the three people arrested showed up in Lousia Country Criminal Court records, but there are pages and pages of records for over a dozen different people with the last name Shelton in Mineral, Va (a town of less than 500 people).

Great find on the missing report for Shantai. I couldn't get the link to work. Has anyone been able to access that thread?

Thank you. I accept your apology. I was not offended just disheartened. I completely understand not wanting to believe me. I am just so upset about this and this forum has helped me deal. We have had two people in our community go missing and this one has hit home because he is a personal friend.

But referencing their FB pics, it appears that Mersaides is first and Shantai is in the middle.

I can't believe people are posting comments on Shantai's FB page about her arrest! One went as far as linking the ATM photo to her page. I hate to think she could hurt KWQ, but innocent until proven guilty.

I would think that posting anything on a suspect's FB account would encourage that suspect to delete info or close the FB account. That would leave less SM info to explore for LE...

I hope they find Kevin soon for his family's sake. He sounds like such a nice man, taking care of his mom and being a family oriented person. I feel so badly for his brother who turned 40. He will never forget that day, for all the wrong reasons. This just makes me so sad.

Twinbabyg, please know that we care and we are here for you. I hope you and his family can take comfort in knowing that 7 LE agencies are all over this case. There will be no stone left unturned. The fact that $30K has been raised by the community speaks volumes as to how respected and well liked Kevin and his family are. Our Prayers are with you, the family and friends. Respectfully, IMO
