I agree! I'm not sure why this keeps getting mentioned. Alexis Murphy wasnt white and her case became 'famous' right away. We have more important things to worry about here.
I definitely think there is a media bias, but I don't understand bringing up the issue when Hannah's case has received very little national media coverage (so far). A few articles is what hundreds, if not thousands, of cases get a year. It is 2014...We have online news websites with specific pages for crime w/ dozens of headlines. It is not getting an extraordinary amount of national coverage, so people pointing out that the only reason it is being talked about is because she is a pretty young white woman seems unnecessary. If it becomes the biggest story in America, then one can say that it doesn't deserve to be, if they feel that way, but I think it is way too premature to start that talk.
