Actually Janeumayer, if JM is responsible for HG and MH's abduction/murder, he will be labeled a serial killer by the FBI as of 09/02/2005.

FBI Definition of Serial Murder; September 2, 2005

The different discussion groups at the Symposium agreed on a number of similar factors to be included in a definition. These included:

• one or more offenders
• two or more murdered victims
• incidents should be occurring in separate events, at different times

• the time period between murders separates serial murder from mass murder

In combining the various ideas put forth at the Symposium, the following definition was crafted:

Serial Murder: The unlawful killing of two or more victims by the same offender(s), in separate events.

Oooh! Thanks for the heads up! It used to be 3 or more!

Contingency of what?

Right now the story does not seem to have much to it. No book deal unless he turns to be a serial killer with a bizarre story of life.

I don't see many dollars in this right now

The money is in the free publicity.

JMO but that all depends on what parts of yourself you actually share with your friends, and what kind of friends you surround yourself with. Many people who lack a particular insight are going to surround themselves with people who buy into their bullsnit.
For sure. Heck even Casey Anthony had friends. Some real. Some not so real lol

Is it possible she went to the garage during the near hour unaccounted for between leaving the male friend and appearing on video? Or even earlier in the day or week? Unfortunately the dog can't say when her scent was left there.
What garage? Just got up & am far behind, could you please tell me who's garage?

The Water St. Parking Garage in the Downtown Mall area. It's not new information, just more discussion about when/if the garage could have played into this case at all :)

Contingency fees are well known. However I looked it up to provide a definition. They are only permitted in civil cases per the legal dictionary I used. In theory and contingency if allowed it would have to be on a wrongful LE action.

Teaser on Fox News says, pertaining to this case, showing a brown evidence bag, ". . . and we now have reason to arrest him."
For now . . . That's all folks.

A lot of bars around here are closed Mondays. Pretty typical. :)

True...sometimes Sundays and Mondays as it makes for easier scheduling.

How may of them take the time to put a fresh sign up on the door though?

It's my opinion that Jesse did not park in the garage. Just a hunch

If I remember right he parked on 4th street. Longo mentioned it during a press conference asking people to come forward if they saw his car there. I'm going by memory though...I'm pretty sure it was 4th.

Lord have mercy. I'm waving the white flag here because apparently you can't ever truly know someone. :nevermind:

If, and only if, he did have something to do with her demise, I would be willing to bet it was an unfortunate accident and not premeditated. JMO, please, I don't need to be lectured about my own opinions.

Except its probably pretty safe to assume that JM wasn't traveling 35 in a 15moh zone if his speed is what forced LE to abandon their pursuit if him. I doubt 35mph would be considered a high speed chase.

It was a chase due to reckless driving, not a suspect of a major crime. That lowers the point where they deem it "too dangerous." If they were in a residential neighborhood with kids playing going above the speed limit at all would be "too dangerous" to pursue.
