It doesn't take a genius to kill someone or get away with it imo.. I think we all know of plenty of them especially from here at WS in the cases we follow that are still walking around or are in jail on lesser charges none of them being masterminds or genius.
Okay, you're right, I'll give you that. But do you honestly believe he has been killing women for years?
Take emotion out of it for a minute and look at it logically (hilarious coming from me... I'm always emotional, never logical). Logically, it just doesn't make sense. I don't think he's capable of serial rape and murder. Look how careless he was, getting caught by all those cameras and so many witnesses seeing them together. If he has been doing it undetected for years, he'd be better at it than that, IMO.

A lot of rape victims don't press charges because it's embarrassing and they don't want to have to relive it or be accused of lying by the rapist etc.. There are many reasons they go unreported.

One other thing about being out of twon and in the rural areas, there are no street lights, so once you are off road and headlight/interior lights out, it's dark, like real dark.

are there crops around c'ville? where are likely places that he would have gone. for example, the first place i'd think to take someone where cops aren't around in Louisiana is one of the smaller towns with crops everywhere. where people don't live in true neighborhoods. you know back roads where a farmer lives on the land then there's no other home for a mile or 2.

that's where I'd look. what are the towns like this near cville?

From Memory, Longo gave me the impression the roommates (and family?) were giving LE the bare essentials of information. Longo sounded a bit frustrated to me.

Jumping off your post, I agree. I just can't fathom why his family, especially his grandmother, mother or sister, cannot strongly encourage him to talk. Sadly, I don't think Hannah is alive anymore. It has been 2 weeks since she disappeared. I hope his family and preacher will help him to do the right thing.

As a woman not too far from Hannah's age I find him absolutely hideous and cannot imagine her being in the slightest bit attracted to him.

You know, as a woman you are taught to not be "rude" or "snobby" to people. Always be nice. Maybe she was just frustrated at walking, her friends, who knows and he was "nice to her". Maybe she wasn't necessarily attracted to him but just was glad someone was , let's say at the time, helping her. One doesn't have to be attracted to someone to either accept a kind (at the time) offer. Just guessing though. Obviously.

Just an aside: Alot of OR people wear crocs at work, so his wearing crocs does not seem unusual to me.

Especially him working in a hospital, lots of folks there wear them.

Alternatively, he is getting sloppier and sloppier because he has gotten away with it before...

Okay, you're right, I'll give you that. But do you honestly believe he has been killing women for years?

I brought this up yesterday, very interesting that we've heard NOTHING about said roommates.

I'm also surprised no one from the University Hospital where he worked has commented. If they have I missed it.

Well we don't know do we? But we do know the University considered it serious enough to expel him (former athlete of the year - redshirted freshman- kind of a big deal if you know football) - and we do know she was at the hospital for treatment. I think it's pretty safe to assume he did something to her.
I wasn't saying he didn't... I was saying I don't know what's true about why he wasn't charged.

I agree with that 100%. I merely stating that meaning there was no struggle or commotion to attract attention.

Maybe hannah was his big mistake who knows.. But there are so many coincidences that it doesn't look good for him imo.. Let's say I'll be surprised if there's not a connection at this point.

I agree with the second half.
Regarding the first statement--I am a little frustrated with all the chatter about whether she was attracted to him (not directed at you, just in general). It is neither here nor there, IMO. If Hannah was as intoxicated as people have suggested (and as she appears to me in the video), this becomes irrelevant. She cannot consent, by law. Nor can she rationally decide whether she wants to leave with someone.

<modsnip> I think she was disoriented and he swooped in.

I think she just wanted a ride home, not a boyfriend! JMO

Surely youre joking?

Evil has no place in a just society. You dont treat it as an old friend and talk to it as an equal.....over coffee no less. SMH

Hannah is missing and presumed dead after all of this time. Whoever committed this heinous act is guilty of disrespecting her in the worst way possible....disrespecting her right to even live.....to have children of her own...to see her friends and family again...to enjoy the most precious gift we are ever given.

Yet we should treat someone suspected of one of the vilest acts humanly possible with dignity and respect?

Amazing...and not in a good way either.

He probably is very disturbed, but no one gets anywhere by the show of force and aggression.

It only inspires fear and hatred.

I doubt if he has killed her that he would want to be best friends with LE, but I agree that discussion first would work better.

Tell him that they want to talk about it. And then tell him if he is not going to cooperate, they will use the means they have to get information. The cliche of getting flies with honey is a cliche for a reason.

I might get crap for saying this, but to me LJ isn't a bad looking guy. Peoples are acting like he would have a hard time picking up a woman. I agree his behavior seemed overly friendly, but I've known many people like that. I'm a very introverted person, so extreme extroverts make me uncomfortable. I do not think that it is out of the realm of possibility that she found him attractive and went for a drink willingly.

And to be honest, it seems the most likely she got into his car willingly as well, although very intoxicated.
IMO it isnt about looks,:but more about his aggressive puck up style that would flag most women. I can picture him sliding up along side Hanna fast sweet talking. She too polite (even if too drunk) he coaxing her along maybe to get her a ride back home(her phone dying?) Etc. Most females (sober) that I know get creeped out by an aggressive/boundary crossing guy. Even earlier that evening he was accused of such behavior. Maybe he had been successful in the past with over drunk ladies in bars. Never thought that attractiveness played into it.
