I am so depressed that no one raised the alarm Sat. morning, when it would have been clear she never made it home. I know young people are pretty self-absorbed, but the extra time hurts the case, one way or another. Same with Christina in TX, four days before anyone was alarmed, after two missed days of work. My sisters in TX would be phoning my local police if I missed a day of email just checking in. And when the last thing your friend says, at 1:30 in the morning is that she is lost...well it just boggles my mind.

I can't get over that last text and what the significance is. It's even possible dread guy dropped her back off at Wertland and 14th since it's close to her apartment but also very close to where the other assaults happened that night.

University of Virginia Police Chief Michael Gibson says that a student reported she was sexually assaulted near Wertland street early last Sunday morning, Sept. 14.

Gibson said the second incident occurred early Monday morning, not far away, in the 200 block of 15th Street NW. In that case, the chief says the female victim was a Charlottesville resident

My worry is she may have been assaulted / or an attempt, after she left the frat- trauma causes a lot of "off" behavior.

My heart desperately hopes Hannah is still alive, but I don't think she is. I think she was drunk, thus irrational. She wandered around for a bit, ended up at the mall and a man who was savvy enough to see that she was vulnerably intoxicated took advantage. I can't decide if his motivation was "just" rape and something went (even more) wrong and she died OR if it was murder from the jump.

I might have a name on POI. Doing some sleuthing of my own, but can't seem to find anymore info on him than through spokeo. Anyone else have any luck?
Try county court records. Criminal history?

To theorize that some team is working here, or that dreads dropped her somewhere else for someone else to commit a crime just requires too many jumps in logic in my opinion.

Look people. The dude is on gosh darn video walking away with Hannah. His car has been seized. His home has been searched.

You are looking at a serial killer and sexual predator. He has killed multiple young women in the area following a similar game plan.

Guess what *******? Longo has you in his sights. You are going down.

Could Dreads be one of the 'go to guys' in the mall if you wanted to score (buy drugs)?? Maybe alcohol wasn't the only thing that was purchased at Tempos, kwim? JMO

They are college kids and it's a weekend and they have been up partying all night. It's possible they didn't even wake up or come out of their rooms until 1 in the afternoon. Noticed Hannah wasn't home a short time later then started checking with other friends as to her whereabouts. She was reported missing around 4:30pm that day.

But does anyone think she went there to meet him, specifically? If not, why did she go there at all, what were her intentions? I guess only she knows, I'm just rambling out loud.
Not convinced she went there to meet him, necessarily. She went there for a reason, though... I think. Even though it seems like she was wandering, she really took a fairly straight path to the mall. Maybe she was meeting someone else? Or looking for someone? Could that be why she did a lap around the pub? Looking to see if she could see someone specific? Then she headed up to the mall area to check those bars? While I'm asking a million questions, where the heck was she from 11:50 to 12:45?!?

I totally agree and this part of the case makes it all the more painful. They were not looking out for each other at all. I really hate the drug and alcohol scene on campuses, and I am disappointed that people are careless with their friendships. Friendships are more than clicking "like."

I'm confused about what makes Dreads Guy so odd for some people, outside of the fact that we know she disappeared after. If I saw the two of them together I'd think nothing of it.

I wouldn't think anything of it if I saw the two of them together, myself. But the age difference makes me think that it's an unlikely pair. At that age, everyone I knew thought guys past the age of 25 or 26 were "real grownups" because they had already graduated. Someone 32 would have been way out of range. My senior year, my boyfriend was 28 and everyone couldn't believe how OLD he was, even though he looked and acted young for his age. I just think it would be weird for a sophomore in college to pair up with a non-student in his thirties.

UVA/charlottsville has a "serial rapist" too, or serial killer/rapist. It happens veryyyyy frequently in c-vile.

That person was caught while I was at UVA I believe. He was linked via DNA evidence, he worked at a local grocery store.

The sals video. He is walking alone then turns 180 to follow her.

Do you really think if this guy was a drug dealer, his car and home would be searched and not a thing found to arrest him on even a drug charge was found??
At that point ANYTHING...a baggie with a strange substance, a scale, pipe, actual drugs...whatever. They would have surely arrested him for that and worked the case while having him booked for drug charges.

This guy wasnt a drug dealer. Or at least, he wasnt a real one.

Someone else on FB said you can see dreads dude texting in one of the videos, anyone else see that? I clearly missed it.
