RSBM and I'd only add to the end of your last para's last sentence ...
...

the ACLU was so impressed by the backing of girl-crazy Elon Musk of AH, that they assumed/were convinced she would be important in the upcoming months to years as the future Musk squeeze; and thus they couldn’t afford to offend extant-donor Musk and his money, once he’s shown he’s willing to pony up half a mill for her.

... "all at the expense of Depp's career."

AH's nurse Erin returns this morning for cross exam by JD's team per video testimony. Already...there is some discrepancies and shock. AH has a history of drug and alcohol addiction. Shocker!!

and passing out candy.

They, unlike Heard, haven’t been talking or testifying while eating it.

Has anyone had access to a detailed list of jurors and general demographics ? I have not seen much except maybe more males. Now mention of "young" ?

CourtTV said 6 male, mostly (? Solely?) Black, young.

3 females, also young, glossed over their age and racial demos.

Sometimes they say emphatically ‘YOUNG’, and I’ve no idea what they really mean by this, lol… how ‘young’ is all-caps young supposed to convey? High school/college age? nobody who’s gone even partially gray? Do they mean ‘too young to really be considered Depp’s peers, and thus a potential roadblock to putting themselves in his shoes’?

They will be taking 7 of these currently 9 (?) people into deliberations.

ETA: the reason I imagine only CourtTV has been discussing the juror makeup, is because they are the primary news org entitled to video cameras plus to talk about it. Chanley Painter may in fact be the only person qualified and permitted to discuss them who has seen them in person; surely none of the general spectators or legal teams are.

I’m going to be ‘joining’ late and running to catch up… I ran into my occasional chair leg on Sunday and have a teladoc appointment scheduled for 10:40am today, to discuss treatment for my jammed fourth toe. I thus didn’t want to get settled in on my tv watching chair too soon, lol.

Amber Heard's drug use and feelings of 'insecurity and jealousy'

Nurse Erin Falati, who worked with both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, tells the court she first met the actress in August 2014.

Notes that she made during the course of her work with the former couple are being shown on screen, as they were when her evidence began yesterday.

The notes say that Heard reported to Ms Falati a prior history of "substance abuse including an addiction to cocaine and liquor" but that she had abstained from cocaine for a "couple of years" since.

At the time of their meeting, Heard reported drinking one to three glasses of red wine each day, the notes say.

They also include details of the actress's parents' use of stimulates, opiates and alcohol.

"Client admits to history of anxiety, eating disorder, attention defecit disorder, bipolar disorder, codependence issues and occasional insomnia," the notes also say. The client in this case is Heard.

Ms Falati says she doesn't "recall specifics" about Heard's anxiety but remembers a "general anxiety" and other issues. On codependence issues, again Ms Falati says she remembers discussing this with Heard but cannot remember specifics.

The notes reference Heard's feelings of "insecurity and jealousy" when not with Depp. Ms Falati says she wouldn't say this was a constant theme but that it did come up at times while she was treating the actress.

Argument after phone hack

Nurse Erin Falati, who treated Amber Heard, is now being asked about notes made in September 2014.

In one, she writes that Heard reported "difficulty with jealousy issues and anxiety around fiance's fame and ability to interact with females often".

The nurse tells the court again that while she doesn't remember specifics she remembers this generally cropping up.

In another note, she says in her notes that Heard became "frustrated" during dinner in a restaurant and that her "previous coping mechanisms" involved "impulsive anger and yelling".

In another note from later in September, Ms Falati writes that at 1am Heard appeared "irritable, loud and angry" and was "screaming at times and appears agitated".

This was following a verbal argument with Depp, the notes say, and Heard did not feel he had been supportive.

This was after Heard's phone had been hacked, Ms Falati tells the court, so she would have been upset about this.

'I want her to not see him for a few days'

Questions have now moved on to March 2015, which is just after Amber Heard and Johnny Depp were in Australia - a trip that has been discussed in court several times already.

Nurse Erin Falati, who treated Heard, saw the actress after she arrived back in Los Angeles. Her notes say she met Heard for dinner but she doesn't recall how long she was with her.

She says she doesn't recall seeing any injuries on Heard at this point and didn't report anything like this in her notes. She says she doesn't recall the actress seeking medical treatment from her at this time.

Ms Falati is now being shown an email from Dr David Kipper, who she worked with and who gave testimony earlier in the trial.

"I want her to please not see him for a few days," the doctor said, referring to Heard and Depp.

This was after Heard returned separately from Australia to Los Angeles, while Depp remained in Australia. As previously heard in court, Depp's finger was severed during a huge fight in Australia - he says the injury was caused by Heard throwing a vodka bottle, the actress disputes this.

Ms Falati says she wasn't present in Australia but remembers being told about a "big argument" happening and the treatment team deciding the then couple should not be around each other.

Dr Kipper appears to suggest that Heard would not accept seeing Depp for a period of time. Asked if she agrees, Ms Falati says there was a general pattern of "arguing" and "reconciling" throughout the relationship.

Nurse's visits in November and December 2015

Private nurse Erin Falati is now being asked about visiting Amber Heard and Johnny Depp for Thanksgiving in November 2015.

Ms Falati says there is nothing that really stands out about this evening but she remembers it being "jovial" and "fun" and "happy".

Her notes say Heard was "socialising well with peers" and appeared to be enjoying hosting family and friends.

Questioning moves on to another visit in December 2015, which came up during yesterday's questioning by Heard's team, too.

Ms Falati's notes say she went to deliver medication to Heard and that the actress appeared "dishevelled" and "weepy and sad". She had "visible bright red blood appearing at centre of lower lip", the notes say.

Heard told the nurse this was the result of an "altercation" with Depp, the notes say.

Heard has claimed Depp was violent on both these occasions - on Thanksgiving, she says after their guests had left.

Heard's 'illicit drug use'

Questioning moves to April 2016, which is when Amber Heard celebrated her 30th birthday - another much-discussed occasion during the trial.

Private nurse Erin Falati's notes say she was invited to Heard's birthday dinner at Depp's penthouse apartment in LA.

Depp, who was late to arrive, "appeared coherent, oriented and sociable", the nurse's notes say.

Notes made in May 2016, following a trip to the Coachella Festival by Heard and her friends, report Heard telling the nurse that she "ingested mushrooms and MDMA simultaneously while also consuming alcohol, and states she vomited and was 'high for at least 24 hours straight'."

Heard was reminded that illicit drug use would not be tolerated by medical staff, the notes say, and that they could cause adverse affects with her prescribed medication.

"Client laughed and also reported using illicit drugs" on another occasion "at home with a high-profile male aquaintance", the notes say. "Client reported that her husband was not aware of the male visitor, nor her illicit drug use."

Ms Falati is asked whether she ever witnessed any violence from Depp towards Heard, or Heard towards Depp. She says no.

She says she remembers one incident of Heard losing her temper, in London in 2014, over her "phone being hacked and sensitive material being leaked", which she mentioned earlier.

OOOOooooooooo! "A high-profile male acquaintance".
AH was 'bragging' to her nurse about sneaking some rich dude in! MOOO

Makes sense, there is video after all lol.

also, I note that it would only seem logical that both teams intend on winding up with what they believe are their strongest witnesses.

I’m especially curious to see if Amber’s father is called by her as a witness to testify about she and Johnny’s relationship; and if so, what kind of questions Johnny’s team asks him on redirect.

boy, Amber’s a real peach, isn’t she? No wonder it took so long to get Erin on the witness stand… I’m sure AH would have preferred Erin never be seen or heard (pun intended) from ever again, and that any excavating in order to get a hold of her post-Erin’s marriage came from the Brown Rudnick team.

Next witness...

Questioning of private nurse Erin Falati has finished and Judge Penney Azcarate has called the next witness.

This is Michael Spindler, a forensic accountant who has worked in the field since 1990, who is appearing in person so takes the stand in court.

Forensic accounting is financial investigative work, he tells the court.

We hear he has testified as an expert about 100 times before, usually with respect to damages.

He has worked with major film studios and writers, directors and actors before, he tells the court.

I am going to guess that he is showing how they arrived at the $50 million for this case…that it wasn’t just a number that got thrown out there.

Heard is asking for $100 million
