'Islamic militants have released a video showing the apparent beheading of a British hostage, David Haines.

Site, an intelligence group which was the first to report Steven Sotloff’s beheading, confirmed the video’s release.'

A video and still photographs have been released online that appear to show the same killer as the man who murdered journalist James Foley, and it does indeed appear that poor Mr Haines has also been horribly murdered in the same way. He was an aid worker.

I think it is definitely the same murderer. Even though he's tried to cover his eyes up more, the London accent sounds exactly the same, just muffled. There isn't one London accent - there's lots. His accent is say, what Queens would be compared to Manhattan or something. His build is just the same too.

Does anyone else think that possibly all 3 of these men were beheaded at the same time, but the videos were held to be released at their leisure? The background just looks identical in all 3 videos. There is no difference in the color of the sky....the background sand looks the same....I realize this landscape is not very fluctuating but it looks IDENTICAL in all 3 videos. JMO

Have you watched any of the beheading videos? There's nothing fake about it, and the final image is of the man's body, stomach on the ground, with his head sitting on his back.

I had the same thought. But maybe it's just hope.

But when the man starts the beheading there is no blood. And if you knew someone good at special effects the last scene wouldn't be too hard.

I think the background is fake. I think they video the beheading wherever and then insert the background somehow ( I don't pretend to know anything about photoshop but the background looks staged to me)

to me it looks like the one on the right has darker skin and blacker, thicker eyebrows but as always, it's incredibly difficult to compare photos

I have watched them all none show an actual beheading. If these guys are so ruthless and are trying to terrorize then why only release an edited video?
