He worked for General Dynamics - a contractor. The White House job is mentioned on several SM. He was not a guard at the White House. He never had any real assignments for the NG. He was logistics.

I’m a local and it is extremely common here to be connected to the DoD, White House, IT, etc. The Secret Service would have been able to view his computer searches because his computer (even as a contractor) is government property. There is likely no money laundering, etc. It’s as simple as “he was our employee via contract so therefore we can look into what you did with our equipment”.

Daughter is US citizen. Something to think about and maybe as a leverage. Just first thougths.
 
To add onto that, “help desk” is enough to absolutely place him in the White House. It’s completely possible that he worked from home some days and was in office some days - or maybe he worked from home but under The White House. It is extremely common here to be a government contractor with a security clearance and still work from home. There are security clearance levels and some information can’t be shared outside of certain environments (meaning you would need to a) have the corresponding level of clearance and b) be in an authorized location ie a SCIF). He may have only dealt with unclassified information.

Thank you, I did see the same FB post and already started to question. But it was there.

His current FB says under Intro: "Information Technology at U.S. Federal Government" (Link: Naresh Bhatt)

And, again, his LinkedIn mentions right below his name "IT Specialist DoD NMCI".

I do think now it was a contractor position (with the government as a client, but paychecks etc coming from another company). Perhaps only for a short time frame. And the job itself perhaps a bit exaggerated, who knows.

It does not fall under the scope of service mandated by Congress for the Secret Service. The Secret Service just can't jump into an investigation. They are responsible for our banking system, money cyber security and protecting the protectees mandated by Congress.

No, the Secret Service could not randomly review his computer, unless within their scope of service. The FBI could and it does fall under the FBI as the federal investigative agency.

I'm very familiar with government and the powers of each department. Have hosted, planned, executed numerous events with the Secret Service and Congressional protectees.

I'm also very aware of government contractors. This man did not work for the White House and no one has been able to produce any documentation showing that he did.

My opinion, either the media misspoke as to the agency or there's more to the story and I'm betting it's related to money.

Prosecutors told the court that investigators at the scene saw what looked like blood spatter and staining in the master bedroom and bathroom areas of their home. Some of that blood appeared as if someone had been dragged.

Investigators said technology used at the scene helped to identify that large amounts of blood had once been on the bathroom floor and saw that blood was stuck in parts of the bathtub.

Investigators have not yet confirmed if the blood belongs to Mamta. They are awaiting test results.

Elaborating on that search of their home, prosecutors say investigators found the home in disarray Wednesday. Many items were already boxed and packed up, with passports for both Naresh and his one-year-old daughter ready to go.

Security in the White House falls under Secret Service. His computer activity (using their networks/devices) would fall under their domain. There is no other governing body for his computer searches while under The White House.

As for proof of his employment, the building that he reported to for work would not be his employer. How many CIA contractors (or employees) have “Pentagon” as their employer - none. They have their contractor - GDIT, BAE Systems, etc.
