Cemetery: On the crest of a hill to the south of the main house is the family cemetery. It contains 13 known graves. It is surrounded by a simple iron fence and is planted with boxwoods. The stones reflect changing modes of grave marking from the 1880s to the 1990s. The cemetery contains the graves of the following family members:

In PA we are allowed to have a cemetary for family on a farm with permission.
This is not unusual. The state says where it can be located on a farm so it does not interfere with water etc.

There is a 20 year old violent sexual predator (rapist specifically) that lives where the main road intersects with the Anchorage Farm Road which is not actually identified on google. And he works at a plumbing company within a mile or so of the arena. Bet if he was raised in the area, he would know how to get where her body was found.
That would seem to fit. Going by where she was found, it does seem whoever left her body there was very familiar with the area. MOO

I just looked it up and there are actually quite a few in that area. But the one you mentioned is intriguing.

A caller who was part of the searches for Morgan just mentioned the red digital camera Morgan had and searchers were told to be on the lookout for it. No confirmation today from LE whether it was found with her, or if she was fully clothed (another question brought up on Nancy's show).

Very interesting and a good catch Sue Jay.

Also, I googled "Blandemar" and found this
Blandemar Farm Dam is on a tributary of North Fork River in Albemarle County, Virginia and is used for irrigation and recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1960. It is owned by Blandemar Farm.

Blandemar Farm Dam is of earthen construction. Its height is 20 feet with a length of 450 feet. Its capacity is 63 acre feet. Normal storage is 51 acre feet.
.

The "recreation" part caught my interest. I wonder if a lot of people go there to fish and swim? Also, Blandemar Estates is adjacent to Anchorage Farm and it appears there have been many lots and homes for sale there in the recent past. People living or renting in that neighborhood probably have access to Anchorage Farm property.

RIP Morgan, and my prayers for her family.

Just saw the map on Nancy Grace where she demarcated the body as being found.

Kinda close to the home, no?

I say with in a 10 days and they will have a poi on this one actually poi's cause one person didn't do it. wont take to long thankfully..he outsmarted himself by choosing the spot and thats whats gonna do him in ..that and the tracks or dna something he has left behind....

I mapped out the actual home and work addresses. 1.7 miles from his house to the middle of the farm. 1.3 miles from his work at the plumbing company to the Copley Road Bridge where she was last seen. He is actually a very good looking guy that I'm sure would be attractive to a young woman and does not look threatening at all. I'm sure he is on LE's radar big time.

That's the impression I'm getting. Someone who knew the farm and the area very well, imo. Which leads me to question who the man who found her has had on the farm? :waitasec: MOO

I think it's odd to leave a body in the middle of a field when there are areas of woods close by.

I wonder if she could have been kidnapped and then escaped from a house or building. Since we know she was not dressed for the weather; perhaps she was running throught the field, tripped and eventually died of exposure ... the kidnapper may be finding out where she disappeared to - along with the rest of us.

If the skeletal remains are Morgan Harrington, it was only 10 miles away from the concert arena. I bet those that passed up the opportunity to use trained trailing dogs might be uneasy with that decision now ... It possibly could have made a difference if only to have located her earlier and clues more easily obtainable.

God bless the family ...

State Police spokesperson Corinne Geller revealed that what farmer Bass found was “skeletal remains” and that the remains and scene were evaluated by forensic technicians, who will make the positive identification. Her colleague Lt. Joe Rader said the body was found in a hay field that had been cut in August, so that when the body arrived it may have been hidden in waist-high grass.

If it's the place where Nancy Grace says, it's 500 feet from the access road.

For people who aren't watching CNN, this is the place:

http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&s...549,-78.613575&spn=0.001049,0.002411&t=k&z=19

On the tip. Right where the forest meets the grass. Can a single individual haul a body 500 feet from the road?

no i dont think it is because she owner said there were hunters that trespass sometimes if your gonna hunt u dont wanna be standing in the middle of a wide open feild .

its more then 500 feet.its a mile and a half ..u heard the owner say he cant drive his truck he needs his 4x4 or tractor.

How can it be a mile and a half away from the road, when the property and the land isn't even a half mile across?
