And our film is dedicated to my beautiful student Morgan Harrington. Morgan’s ashes are going with me wherever I go, and I will see to their ritual honor in the west of Nepal, where she had wanted to travel with us. I miss you, Morgan, but you are with us. To Morgan’s parents, Gil and Dan, I am with you. And your story has moved the hearts of our dear friends in Nepal. We are proud to be arm-in-arm with you.

I love The Creative Process and without a doubt it is my favorite class that I've ever taken. Ms. Vance has such a dynamic and personal teaching style so she really is able to connect with her students each on an individual level. She teaches us not only great literature and helps improve our writing technique and develop a voice, but she also encourages us to care more about the world.

After extensive travels to India, Sri Lanka and Nepal, Vance, local painter and Virginia Tech professor, first met Ngawang in 2001 through friend and photographer Thomas Kelly.

Vance and Ngawang quickly became friends.


"He believes we share the same mind, which means we have the same intention, which outlives just our bodies and this one lifetime," Vance says.

With Vance's help, Ngawang completed his dream in 2001 of traveling to America.

During Ngawang's visit to the United States, he stayed at Vance's home in Blacksburg while he taught a semester-long course on Himalayan culture at Virginia Tech.

The autonomy of Tibet is a just cause, but one wonders why organizations as far-left & globalist as the VTech faculty and Unity Church would support what seems to be mainly an ethnic and religious nationalist movement in resistance to Communist China. :confused:

Thank goodness they've got *something*! It seems this was most likely a stranger abduction crime of opportunity. I hope this will jog peoples' memory and we can get justice for both Morgan and the woman who was attacked in Fairfax (and for whoever else this assaulted between then and now).

I hope this is what the Harrington's need to get justice!! What a CREEPY picture! I wonder what evidence they have? Anyone want to speculate? DNA?
This CREEP needs to be off of the streets! NOW!

I still wonder if he "knew" the farm. Did he pick the location at random? I always felt the killer was familiar with the area (farm), now I'm unsure! Praying he is caught soon. So many things are running through my head....Has he been in VA all along? HIS FACE needs to be on billboards throughout VA.

Praying someone turns this guy in!!!! Someone needs to do the right thing...$150,000 to the one who has enough courage!

Most likely DNA.

We are lucky the DNA in that '05 rape was even tested.

Everyone thinks it happens like on TV- within the scope of the show,
DNA is gathered, tested and used to catch the bad guys.

The sad truth is that it's just amazing how many untested DNA crime
samples there are- LE is collecting more DNA samples than ever, but
many jurisdictions simply don’t have the resources to process them.

Scary.

I don't want to think about the criminals out there with you, me, our kids,
simply because there isn't enough money to test the DNA that is sitting
in the labs.

Is there anything MORE important than this?

national backlog of 70,693 DNA samples as of January 1, 2008. By contrast,
a study by the Bureau of Justice Statistics pointed to a nationwide backlog

I'm finding it hard to believe that they found the guy's DNA on her body ... could they have found it on the t-shirt that was found last Nov on Grady Ave. They confirmed that it was MH's t-shirt by using DNA ... I'm betting he left some, too.

They should start plastering the guy's picture all over the Grady/14the St area. Too bad the students have scattered all over the world. Could UVa send out an email to all enrolled students from last year to circulate this guy's description.
 
Hoping this is the break that Morgan and the Harringtons need.
 
HLN just said there is a possible link to a rape case.
