The text could have popped up on an iPad or other device.
Darn! I wonder if it has made it to youtube yet?
Never mind, I had it backwards:
"After Nicole's body was found, police found Keepers at her boyfriend's house and searched the premises. She allegedly sent Eisenhauer a text message warning: "POLICE."

Yes, I am confused. She has to have a different boyfriend. Maybe there is a 3rd person?
If he was smart at all- he would have done all of his online stalking and phone calls from a "burner" phone. That could easily be destroyed and disposed of.That's an interesting point. Good thinking! Obviously tossing his phone wasn't part of the original plan - that NK knew about anyway since she decided to send him a text on it. Internal garbage somewhere?
So wait--- he was already in custody at this point. I haven't seen where they are looking for his phone though. But I did see where they saw the text to him from her phone. I also have seen reference once or twice to getting her from her boyfriends house. But all others say her dorm room and refer to her telling them where to find the blanket.Never mind, I had it backwards:

I have wondered about that, but it sounds like maybe the police were searching his room and he got the IM and the police picked up the phone and looked at it. I'll look for an article that talks about the phone message from Speekers.
Is this camo shower curtain selfie skeezeball?
Unfortunately the Fox video will not play for me. Tried Chrome and FF.
I cannot for the life of me find anything on DE. Only one friend, Gaige Kern, who runs with him at VT made a comment about his shock, but that's it. GK did write a personal letter to DE on his fb 2 days ago, but I don't think I'm allowed to post.
At first it was reported police were in DE's dorm when he received the 'POLICE' text from NK, and that's what led them to her and why they started questioning her.
It's starting to sound like the MSM has figured out this is going to be a hot case and they're trying to outdo eachother by being the first to report something. And as per usual they don't seem to care much about actually getting things right. Figures.

As far as Nicole's phone. With the swanky wooded area they had her in while at the probably murder site as well as the long drive to the NC border they could have easily thrown it out into the forest somewhere.
The fact that it was turned off and on and then off again is very telling and makes me think they were ensuring that the phone was off and offline at some point. Probably right before disposing of it.
There is some reason though as to why they are looking at the pond. To be determined why.
Yes, I could be mistaken, but that's what I thought I read had happened. NK sent DE that text message (POLICE), but police at the time were also questioning DE and searching his room and I believe they had his phone and saw that message come in.
Here's the Greta video YouTube link:

Those "POLICE" text reports are so confusing. At first, I remember seeing that she send him the text while they were already in his room and that was how they tied her to the crime. That made sense, except how would she know the police were coming. She would've had to happened to see them from her dorm. I guess that's possible, but seems kind of unlikely to me.
The other way makes more sense in that they already talked to her and then she sent him a text to warn him. If that was the case though, how would the police have already known about her and searched her? Both ways are so confusing.
