Thanks,that is the first version where I've seen it explicitly stated that the perp has to be over 21 before killing someone below 14 gets a capital murder charge. What a stupid and arbitrary line to draw.

I think the borderline: BPD part of NKs mental profile aligns pretty well with her seemingly inexplicable behavior. Not excusing her, I think it's just the tip of the iceberg.

There was murder evidence in DE's car. He was also the last person to see her alive, lured her out of her bedroom and drove her away to be killed. I've no doubt he was the killer, none at all.

LE hasn't revealed all the evidence they have, but they're certain DE was the killer. IMO, he lured in NK because of her psych problems, knew he could manipulate her and probably thought he could pin the murder on her.

We know more about NK because she talked to police. DE didn't talk, but he seems to be the most controlling, depraved and dangerous of the two. If NK's description of how he murdered Nicole is accurate, he's much more crazy than NK.

I am really wondering if DE and NK deliberately set out to find someone to murder, rather than DE meeting Nicole online and then deciding to murder her. I just am getting a very, very dark vibe from DE and NK - that they had some sinister relationship before Nicole even entered the scene. I have no evidence of this, just a hunch. I think DE and NK might have been involved in some sexual/thrill relationship of master/slave (sort of reminds me of the Amish girls' kidnappers).

I think if this duo hadn't been caught, they would've killed again. Fortunately, they don't have what it takes to get away with a crime, so they will be put away behind bars.

So curious what DE is going to say in defense. We haven't heard a peep.

I agree with you, and I'm wondering what DE's version is going to be as well. He may say she was the mastermind.

Thank thank you for the post. I look for updates on this case every day here and on the internet. DE, IMO, is a sadistic sociopath. NOT insane. Just pure evil. Also interesting still not a peep abt his parents yet he has the big time attorney.

NK, on the other hand is delusional; clearly not living in reality. A mental disorder devoid of human empathy and compassion. But again, not insane.

Eisenhauer told police that he was with Keepers when Lovell had gone missing on the night of Jan. 26, 2016.

Keepers said that she and Eisenhauer had a “fling” the summer before they came to Blacksburg and became best friends when they entered Tech’s engineering program.

She described their relationship as “really tight” and had seen Eisenhauer at least four of the six days before she was questioned.

Eisenhauer had driven her to her boyfriend’s apartment the night before investigators questioned her, which would have been shortly before Eisenhauer was arrested.

Eisenhauer said that a friend told him that he had been making out with a girl at the party. He said that the girl said she was 16, and that he had communicated with her after the party and was worried that she was underage.

About a week after Christmas 2015, Eisenhauer expressed concerns that the girl might be pregnant.

So he killed her because he "might" have had sex with her and she might be pregnant. Ok. Makes tons of sense. Let's get on with this. Justice for Nicole.
