that was my "killer" trial - the thought of that poor baby's handprint above the bed in the RV still haunts me!...I was so invested in that case that even tho the verdict was the one we all wanted I swore I would never watch another trial...I was wrong - I have watched other trials just not so invested. When I hear how passionate some of you are about this trial and Travis it remind me how I felt about Danielle...hugs to you guys!

Yeah, that one was a horror. Never forget that hand print as long as I live. Dear God.

Dwayne Cates on HLN said he thinks it will be 2nd degree. So that would mean they woul dhave to believe Jodi's story that she took Travis' gun, right? And they would ALSO have to believe her story about the rope, thus the knife just being there. I don't see how that's possible...there is no evidence of that. There IS however evidence that Jodi might have had the gun b/c we do have concrete evidence of the gun being "stolen" from the home she was staying in.
If they think Jodi brought the gun, that would have to automatically mean 1st degree, right?
I just do not see how it could be 2nd degree based on the jury instructions, like Juan said even b/w the first stab and the second fatal stab to the neck, there was premeditation, then premed. again before the gunshot.
I do not see HOW the jury could come up with any other verdict than 1st degree.

It is approximately 3:10pm in Mesa, Arizona right now. The jury has been deliberating a little over 6 hours now.

I am really starting to get concerned - I am worried that the jury is not "seeing" Arias' premeditation.

What could be taking the jury so long?

I am fearful that Travis Alexander will not have justice - and I will be heartbroken (with all of you).

Since it is after 3pm in Mesa - Does anyone think that the jury is going to return a verdict today?

I'd be (pleasantly) surprised to get a verdict today. I didn't think we would get a verdict this quickly. We are all just guessing at this point, no one knows.

Anyone who is interested in hearing more from Chris and Sky Hughes, they have several media shows coming up.
Starting tonight, they are appearing in both Inside Edition (pre-recorded) and Dr. Drew.
Tomorrow night: Nancy Grace.
They filmed a 48 Hours episode on Saturday, but I don't know the date it will air.
There are more that are escaping my memory...it seems one will be on FOX and I believe a Dateline...but I will share as I learn more.
My DVR's are set for Inside Edition and Dr. Drew for tonight!

My husband and I are huge Coen Brothers fans (Have you seen the movies Fargo? Raising Arizona?...Coen Brothers films); our all-time fav is The Big Lebowski. After we saw it we took to calling each other "Dood", as opposed to the real Dude (Jeffrey Lebowski, aka Jeff Bridges). Sometimes I forget he has a real name! We're in a store or something and I yell out "Dood!" and a dozen people turn around...haha!

I wonder how many of the Jurors are familiar with the previous case JM prosecuted. The Andriano case is similar in she killed him 3 different ways..Andriano also claimed to kill in self-defense. That verdict took 15min..I think Murder 2 and lesser was not an option.

I am so nervous looking at the time! I am nervous the lesser charges and instructions are confusing them. :scared:

And said its OK-fear not...she did it....here is the box you check for GUILTY

Travis will live through this jury's verdict-I feel it!!!
