I find the woman who is often his co-host (I think her name is Jenny) particularly annoying. If DD is not interrupting, then she is, usually with a stupid question or comment as though she just arrived on the planet and is completely befuddled by what is going on.

That is a perfect description for her. She's not even a good actress. All of that "faux befuddlement" gets under my skin. I just keep HLN off if I can. ugh.

Tomorrow (5/8) marks 5 days since this case went to the Jury last Friday (5/3.) Travis' body was discovered 5 days (6/9) after he was killed (6/4.) I am going to sleep tonight with the firm belief that justice is coming before another sunset in Arizona.

Praying for the Alexander family and for the jury. lease:

I think it was a case of: right girl, wrong time.

While it seems clear from what others said he loved Deanna, at that time he just wasn't ready to marry.

The jury did not see Dr Drew, but they saw an honest (even when it was embarrassing), kind, sweet person who knew Travis very well. She put it on the record that during the entire time they dated Travis never screamed at her, abused her in any way and was a perfect gentleman to her. She also got on the record that while his childhood was difficult, he had many good memories. She also let them know that Travis' dad was getting past his addiction issues before he passed away and Travis loved him. All important (IMO) in combating the BS that the defense said about him.

And she wasn't playing to anyone or anything. She sat up tall and answered every one of those invasive questions with dignity.

If *I* wanted to give her a hug (and I am not a huggy person), you know the jury wanted to hug her, too.

welcome! and, to my knowledge, no, there's no proof other than her words. I personally do not believe she entered the house when she said she did.

I don't either. The first evidence that doesn't rely on her word is the bed photos sometime between 1 and 2pm. Other than that, we have to rely on JA's word :floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Absolutely a setup by Jodi for whatever evil future purpose she had in mind. I have no doubt she threatened Travis with this recording.

I have to wonder if the ex-Mrs. Brewer did a lot of grilling of DB during this whole trial????? Jodi did not just get this way overnight or because of Travis.

My hubby too! He isn't following the trial at all but last night asked me what was going on. His reply was "Why does it take 4 months for a trial and more than an hour for verdict when there is an admitted murderer. He finds JA revolting.

I live in IL so our tvs were swamped with years of Drew Peterson before the trial ever started. Your comparison between he and JA is SPOT ON! Arrogant, superior attitude, feeling he was smarter than the investigators, lawyers, judge or jury.
Sidenote: two years ago my daughter got married. Her husband's name is Drew Peterson. You can imagine the frantic phone calls, FB messages and emails I received when those who had not met him got the Save The Date announcements!
(her strong requests to have him use his given name of Andrew Peterson to avoid the hassles she receives when she makes reservations, does paperwork, etc have fallen on deaf ears. Something about a traumatic childhood memory of being called Andy :floorlaugh::floorlaugh: And, PS he is a wonderful person and husband for my baby girl! :smile:

Wow what a time in his life to have that name. We probably talked on the same message boards during Drew Peterson saga. I am in Il too.
My niece lives in Bolingbrook and so does my Daughter-in-law's sister.
My husbands cousin's name is Scott Peterson. Right now every time I go in the shed for a shovel I think of KC and can't stand to walk past the red gas cans. Life is weird but then I was thinking of PTSD and can see how someone could suffer from a bad experiences. I really have a hard time with Jodi claiming PTSD. Of course 12-year-old-girls have orgasms (by themselves, hopefully!). Not every one, but it is a completely natural age to masturbate. Hello, puberty means sexual hormones, pretty obviously, right? There is no reason, imho, to act as if a girl that age masturbating would be shameful.

Their questions, for the most part, gave the impression of intelligence. Maybe the stupid one or two just weren't questioning much?

Yes. Having seen that a jury can include 12 stupid people, I wouldn't be surprised if there are one or two on this jury.

That is true, this is the guilt determination stage. However, they know that the sentence (or lack thereof) will be partly determined by what charge they find her guilty of.
If they find her guilty of M1 (as I trust they will) they know that it is either DP or LWOP. That is at least in the back of their mind as they try to fairly determine the sentence. I certainly know it would be in mine.

I agree w/ this. I have a little girl, and the thought of a 12 year old girl having an orgasm grosses me out. 12 year old girls should be having sleepovers with girlfriends, playing barbies, etc., not having orgasms. The thought of a CHILD that young having sexual thoughts and doing sexual things is really bothersome to me. If someone said that to me in a conversation of any type, that would be a serious issue for me, and I probably would not associate with them much, if at all, after that.

I get that lots of guys have a schoolgirl fantasy a la Britney Spears in the video for "Oops I did it again." But Travis didn't say "a school girl having an orgasm" or whatever. He put an age on it; and a VERY young one at that. I'm not saying Travis is a pedophile; I do not believe that to be the case. It just is an eyebrow raising statement. I think that Travis was very odd sexually, because he was inexperienced. Look at what he was learning from. I don't think he knew how to act sexually, or what is sexy talk vs what is just plain weird. If someone said that to me in the context that HE said it (sexy talk time) ... I'd think, "WTH, that's not a turn on at all!" And then would no longer have sexy talk time with them LOL.
