I'm angry. I'm going to eat. Dang. I am gaining weight! Please jury. Make a decision. :gasp::gasp:

Yes but it should have been easy. Easy! She admitted her guilt. Her palm print was there. None of this is rocket science. She slaughtered the poor guy!

Exactly right. That is what is so pathetic about this years-long case. It did not AND should not have been this difficult.

This was a slam dunk case if there ever was one.

What is worse is if jurors really were split 8 to 4. I would never trust our justice system again. These media folks must think they are in Vegas.

Hung juries are part of our justice system.....it's tough to get 12 humans to unanimously agree on things..... everyone has different perspectives, experiences...this is a judgement call...not an assessment of the facts of the case like the guilt phase. She will still get life...a death sentence won't really change much except her appeals process.

HLN is talking national pancake day???

Tell me this is a joke?

I didn't know she could have things like this?

Maybe 4 of the jurors think that Nurmi saying CMJA being mentally ill in his closing means she doesn't know right from wrong. The other 8 jurors might want testimony from Dr. JdM read back to show that isn't true. I can hope that's it and that the answer will lead to a unanimous DP verdict. JMO

If it were indeed a question, wouldn't the family and the defendant be in attendance of the super secret meeting?

It's funny. In real life I'm the calmest person in the room during an emergency. Here I feel like I'm the kind of person everyone hopes they can calm down so they think better, :(

As easy as it should be, it never is Curious. I'm all for the stiffest sentance possible but right now, I think it just needs to end, no matter what the verdict. The family is broken. They can't move on until it ends. As heartbreaking as it is, I think in a few weeks, they will feel the huge burden just lift once they can accept the verdict (if it is infact hung).

I meant the guilt verdict had to be easy. Well....this should be too. JMO.

But if they really thought that they should then counteract that with if it was so bad why would Juan bring it in?

Tbh I just want this circus over with for the families sake

I've said from the start, if the jury couldn't agree on DP after reading the letter she sent his family, then we have a juror who just doesn't believe in the DP. Unfortunately, everyday people lie to get on juries. Sad but true. Let's just hope for the best, expect the worst and take comfort in knowing that no matter what, she's sleeping every night for the rest of her life alone, on that crappy plastic 3" mattress

Not true! I usually turn to you for clarity!

I am actually very calm under pressure as well, but we all have our weaknesses and mine is to see justice prevail.

I've taken my deep breaths and prepared myself for the worst.

I'm ok with whatever happens, as long as it includes Jodi dying in Perryville.

I hope everyone else is preparing themselves as well. Let's all say a quiet prayer that she was CONVICTED and in the grand scheme of things, that's what matters.

I just lit 3 more candles, sending light and strength to the family.

:seeya: Good points ... but the BBM is JMO:

BBM: The reason I believe I AM NOT ok with whatever happens is because Juan and the Alexander's want the DP ... and IF a DP verdict is NOT handed down, it will be a "tremendous loss" for Juan and the Alexander Family -- and -- a "win win" for JA and her DT ! I do NOT want to see even a snicker of a grin on JA's mug :gaah: or her DT and MDLR :gaah:

I will NOT be okay IF JA does not get what she truly deserves, which is the DP IMO ...

:moo:

If this jury felt they weren't making progress or were deadlocked, I think they would have gone to the Judge yesterday with their plight. Since they are still working together, I am confident that they will render a unanimous verdict. My thoughts and prayers are with them in their difficult task. I truly believe that they do not want to be another hung jury. :moo:

I agree with this-that they don't want to be another hung jury. It is because of this, that I think they will not come back with a sentence of DP ( although I wish they would ). I think it will be life without parole; otherwise, they would have already come back hopelessly deadlocked-so the judge can choose between life with, or without parole, as she pleases.

Yeah, we need to remain confident. After all, this is Phoenix, not Florida.

Well I'm back and it appears there is still no verdict.:gaah:
