Jen just tweeted they've increased security. Gotta be a verdict. Hung jury.

Man I hope not. Seems like she'd Allen them before accepting they're hung

That darling man of mine is gone and I am not budging from this chair now.
Sitting at the desktop, tablet is out of my sight!

On pins and needles here.

One of my favorite Bette Davis movies has just started on TCM. I own "Now, Voyager" and can watch it whenever, but I have it on now to pass the time and calm my rattled nerves. Still hoping for a verdict today :praying:

We have increased security and now we are all wondering if we have a verdict #jodiarias

Stephen Alexander just walked into victim room. A lot of buzz outside the courtroom. #JodiArias

Jen just tweeted they've increased security. Gotta be a "verdict." Hung jury.

She hasn't gave them the Allen charge yet, so I don't think the verdict will be hung. I'm assuming she would send them back to keep trying before just accepting a hung jury

The press is already there. Maybe they wont give the "1 hour warning". The hour having been already given......secretly of course. what else is new

Tell me this is a joke?

I didn't know she could have things like this?

Securus is the company that provides video phone calls/visits for prisons all over the country. Some states have ONLY video chats, even if the visitor is on the grounds, as it is cheaper than bringing the prisoners from their cells to a visiting area. Read an article about this a few days ago, but don't have a link handy.

My question is....if a juror is let go at this point will they put an alternate in and start the deliberations all over?

Maybe 4 of the jurors think that Nurmi saying CMJA being mentally ill in his closing means she doesn't know right from wrong. The other 8 jurors might want testimony from Dr. JdM read back to show that isn't true. I can hope that's it and that the answer will lead to a unanimous DP verdict. JMO

I had some issues with this as well. As in "Does she have control over her reactions/handling of certain situations?" A lot of posters couldn't understand why the BPD got so important to me and some comments were very impatient-like (which make me wanna dig my heel in even harder tbh) until BritsKate took the time to explain some of it all to me.

What worried me was, I shouldn't have had needed anyone to explain anything to me. DrDemarte and JM should've hammered down what BPD is not, just like the DT kept hammering T-Dogg T-Dogg T-Dogg in the jurors heads.

I am not sure they made everything clear enough for the jurors (who can't google things they don't understand.)

She could have given them An allen charge, already? With the secrecy in this court i wouldn't be surprised.

Make it stop!!!! Who but the jurors would be in the position to know an exact split?? I don't believe it. If God forbid there is a split, I do NOT believe it is 8-4. Stifle it, Nancy Grace.

Hi Hope , Joey Jackson comes on at 3. He's good , posts on FB. he doesn't stretch the truth. God, please let this end.

Well I'm back and it appears there is still no verdict.:gaah:

:loveyou: I am so glad you're back because we may need some fun entertainment considering what has just happened ... or may happen soon !

Have you gotten caught up yet ?

:seeya:

This is a case of "firsts" for me.

One of them happened today.

This is the 1st case I have seen where during critical juror deliberations stage, the judge asks the Defense + State lawyers to meet her in the hallway to talk secretly. Kind of like junior high school if you ask me.
The BBM is exactly what came to my mind when I saw it. There was a girl in school, kind of a mousy, timid little thing. She would periodically come onto some pc. of info and start whispering, very obviously, it to one or two. Then to small groups, then larger, etc. Very dramatic and exciting (for her)...maybe everyone has one of those in their school but hopefully most don't become a judge. I've had it with all the secrets. Maybe I need to follow a trial from a state with very open records laws...

Which turned out not to be a verdict.
Yes. IIRC the reason it was announced as a question originally, was because the all knowing foreman didn't know how to fill out the correct form or something. Hopefully this jury will get at least that part right!

Xoxo. Yearning for raclette et vin chaud!

Raclette et vin chaud - as you wish.
I'd love to do something good for you as well as to all the co-posters here who had to go through a similar terrible experience... There are too many of you, really too sad.

OK- a fondue-raclette-vin chaud-schnaps-PARTY for all of us :happydance:

I will be devastated if we have a hung jury.

Not me, I was expecting this. I would have been PLEASANTLY SURPRISED if they could reach a unanimous verdict after I saw the way this penalty phase played out. It was a joke of a proceeding...disjointed, chaotic, motions, sidebars, secret testimony, slander of the victim...I'm thankful this witch will get life all things considered.
