Why trample on someone's pride? How is embarrassing her going to help her? She has said repeatedly she won't take assistance... in buying a laptop OR paying for WS. For a lot of people to keep harping and/or offering on this only embarrassess someone.

I respect Tricia and her choices. If she ever changes her mind, or sets up a pay membership, I'll be one of the first in line... but I won't pushing and embarrassing her over the issue of donations, especially in a public venue.

I just wanted to say, I miss Katie. There were many days where I was unsure of my true feelings in this case, and she was there for me to offer an alternative opinon of lightness and hope...

CA had a forum where thousands of people from all over the world could help her find her gd. She had the opportunity to tell us where to search, what leads have come in, and how we can help her find Caylee. I have no doubt if she had said, Great let me give you some information to help find her, that would have been posted. If my child or gd were missing the last thing on my mind would be "how I look" or who is swearing, who cares how you feel about me or my family, help me find this baby. I find it very telling.

I think Cindy's atty was out giving his *warnings*, but with Lin Woods he didn't stop much with net forums/blogs. I think Woods is a better atty than the Anthony atty, so... The Anthony's have bigger and more meaningful things to worry about in my opinion....

I've read that they don't give tee-shirts away, so if folks from the 20 different cities wanted these things to try and get the word out about Caylee, it would cost them at least $5 bucks a shirt to do it? Just curious. Seems to me that would be helping find a live Caylee as much as sitting in your front yard cussing at others to find her.

Her credibility is not 100% based on past statements she's made.

As far as Tricia and her computer, I think she is tryting to maintain a professonal and credible site and I don't think she would want any appearance of impropriety- NOT THAT IT WOULD BE IMO. I admire her even more because if someone offered me a laptap I would so be there!!!

Tricia, I believe Cindy has been able to take down a few Myspace sites that were very uncomplimentary about them or their daughter. Myspace seems to easily take down sites if they get a complaint. I don't know if there is any dealing with Myspace or not but I do know of 2 sites that were taken down with no notice to the owners of the pages.

This looks like an interesting thread. I just discovered it so I'm many pages behind. I believe that insofar as Cindy has been able to "take down a few Myspace sites" (according to you) this would probably be simply based on the kindness and policy of Myspace itself,and not based on any legal right. I say "probably" because I cant be 100% sure without having read the supposedly objectionable pages.

Thus, for example, the owners of this Websleuths web site have the right to make this site as strict or as tolerant as they wish -- it's their site and that's all there is to it. However, if Websleuths were to allow the use of such words as *advertiser censored* or *advertiser censored* (or even worse) in connection with this case, the Anthonys would have a difficult time fighting this policy. It's free speech.
