Bumping for Austin. I can't find anything new. He's been missing for 2 weeks. :(

I cannot find anything either. It has been a long two weeks. The longer he is gone, the worse it may be.

Someone almost had to come and pick him up. He was in his slippers when last seen. Of course, he could have changed into other shoes.

Google search found a FB, says Austin King.
Does not seem that it is a devoted page for his missing person staus.
But, on July 7, someone posts that he was found in the river with blunt force trauma to the head.

Today, someone posts that the search is ongoing, in Gust Bakstrom Park, in Morton, WA.

This appears to be his missing FB page.

Austin's missing person info on this Craigslist.

There is something very sketch about this. As usual, what are we not being told?

On his "missing" Facebook page, family states that reports he was found are false.

The July 2 posts between dad and girlfriend give a little background. Looks like maybe he was supposed to go live with his dad soon? I say that since the gf replied that Austin told her they would "still see each other."

The father seems so desperate. Prayers that this family gets resolution soon, and that Austin is safe.

Thinking of Austin. Too many missing people in the Pacific Northwest.

I've been thinking the exact same thing lately. Wondering if it's just because I live here, that I pay more attention to the ones here? But...it really does seem like a disproportionate amount.

Hoping Austin and so many others are found safe.

What I find even more disturbing is the fact that they aren't talked about on the news here. It seems like they vanish, there are a couple if news blurbs and then nothing. It also seems we have a lack of investigative reporters here in Washington and a lack of caring by the news outlets in general.

It is truly sad.

There are hardly any investigative reporters anywhere anymore and those that remain seem to always be working on stories about embezzlement in local or state government, that type of thing. I can't remember the last time a reporter anywhere stuck with a missing persons' case. They may want to, but may not be allowed to do so, as there is so little to report on a regular basis.

I can't believe this boy is still missing...I thought for sure he would have been found, one way or the other. How terrible for his family and friends.

Austin is still missing. It's been 3 weeks. There has been absolutely no news coverage for him in the past week and 1/2. How awful. :(

I search for updates several times a day. Why hasn't this gotten more coverage? Do you think it's because of his age??

I do think his age has a lot to do with it. :( I don't believe that Austin ran away, but many people will, simply because he is a teenager. The circumstances are just too weird, IMO. He may have run away. I don't know. But how are people supposed to keep an eye out if they don't keep him in the media? However, and unfortunately, we've seen who gets the most coverage. And it's never teens. And it's never males.

ETA: Not to say that the ones who do get coverage don't deserve it...just saying they could "spread the love" a little.

Austin's body has been found. How devastating! I was here to 'bump' for Austin. At the very least the family can now have some closure...but I so wanted a better ending. http://www.komonews.com/news/local/98892119.html
I don't believe we have a confirmation from any news source, but the family has confirmed it via FB. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=109595899088970&v=wall

According to the above article, Austin was found about 10 miles from his home on a logging road. Austin doesn't have a vehicle, according to the family, so someone took him out there or he walked an awful long way. Praying for Austin's family!

Oh, no no no...... I guess we have to wait for "official" confirmation. But this looks like it is Austin. :(

"Runaway". Bull $h!t.

I wonder what led them to that area to search? He did not get out there on his own. And one of the articles said the death was "suspicious".

Rest in peace, Austin. :(

Aw, shoot, I'd hoped for a happier ending. My prayers to the family at this time.

So sad. My heart goes out to the family and friends and the searchers. I was praying for a better ending. :(
