Thank you,
I've tried to zoom in and did so when this picture was first put out, does anyone else see a potential break in the passenger's side window by the mirror?
OR
is that a reflection from a tree's limb's?
...
RSBM. I have been following Cheryl's case for a week and have tried to read the past threads. That does look like a break in the passenger window. Zoomed in you can see what looks like a bullseye break.

We stopped by the culvert to leave flowers & I took a lot of photos of the wooded side of the culvert & the surrounding area. If interested I can try to find a place to upload them?

We just stood there for a bit & said a prayer. Trying to absorb what she went through, and what the searchers went through when they found her. The shock.

More than ever, I'm wondering if she was supposedly there all week. Unless she was all the way under & not out in the brush, I find it hard to fathom no one would have seen her. It's a very busy road and there are well traveled sidewalks on each side.

It appears that the red tape is on every surface that can be opened. Probably to make sure it's not tampered with.

ETA - if you look closely, it's on the doors, gas tank and hood. I'm guessing it's on the trunk, too.

Correct! However; I was referencing the black that is above the gas tank door, and appears UNDER the red tape as well. IMO, the black seems to flow down the side of the car toward her back tire. IMO I don't believe fingerprinting material would cause a flow type look.

That's what I thought too. It's very tiny and not a complete break through of the glass.

I'd be really interested in seeing the photos from the wooded side if you could please.

Couldn't agree more about the shock of finding her. It isn't like they were trained searchers that might be used to finding who they were looking for. As Stryker said, they never expected to actually find her, were more looking for clues.

This is simply to show the depth and current.

This is down the street looking towards the area of the culvert. The water angles from the culvert to run adjacent to the road. The current is just as swift from this far down.

I see. Could it be residue from decades of fueling up in a white car? Gas pumps are pretty dirty.

Wow thanks for the pictures!
This is nothing like what I thought it was.

Thank you Idfinch. So sad. The water in the culvert looks quite muddy.

Those are fantastic pictures, thank you

Is that a gravemarker in the background in the picture that shows the house?

OK, she was definitely dumped there now that I've seen those pics (my opinion). Suicide's off the table for me. And I wonder if the cause of death might have been blunt force trauma/drowning and they're still determining "manner" officially since I would imagine if she "fell" down there she'd sustain some blunt force injuries.

As soon as I posted the above, a scene came on the ID show I'm watching that depicted a man hitting another man over the head with a rock, then pushing his "barely conscious" body into water to "make it look like an accident." They found his car, but not his body until a year later, when they were unable to officially determine the cause of death despite the obvious head injury.

How deep does anyone reckon that culvert is at the wooded end? Three foot or more?

But where exactly was she found?
Closer to the road or further back?

No, it's the stone Welcome to Mountlake Terrace sign.

Here's the MLT sign with today's current. Lots of rainfall lately.

Another pic of the terrain, this from the right side of culvert looking east. It's literally unsteady & very overgrown from the time you leave the sidewalk. It's not a place anyone would or could take a walk. My husband was holding on to my hood from behind the whole time so I wouldn't fall in, & we stepped very cautiously. And we only went 10 feet back, tops.

I thought it was the side where the flowers have been placed but then I remember someone said it was the other side, where the welcome sign is, so I'd like confirmation too. [emoji848]

The thoughts & opinions stated above are that, MY random thoughts & opinions.
