EAST BREMERTON — A child’s remains were found earlier today in a heavily wooded area between Highway 303 and Steele Creek Mobile Home Park

snipped by me.

Remembering this area has the stream running through it. If you look at Streetview, there's a gate access from Highway 303 to the stream, and assuming a tunnel under the road along the stream to the back of the mobile home park.

It opens up a few more possibilities. That someone accessed unseen from the highway, that it was a water incident...

I can't breath. I just saw the update on fb of a child's body found in the trailer park. Dear God. Even knowing this was the likely outcome, I can't stand it. Klonopin, kick in quickly. Oh WHY? WHY> WHY????? Precious child.

Is Jenise's home on the north side of the park?

If it was someone close that she trusted and she wanders about all hours anyway, who is to say she didn't walk to that location with said person on her own two feet?

I don't think I worded it very well! I meant to say that I would be surprised if she was found under her own home if someone close to her was involved, as that would obviously place suspicion on them ... and that with the long delay in reporting her missing, there would have been ample time to hide her elsewhere. But now we know she wasn't found there.

I agree with you though, she could easily have left the park with someone she trusted ..... and sadly she would have probably trusted anyone who showed her any kindness or attention, as this was obviously lacking at home.

I still find it odd that nobody saw her after she was apparently put to bed on the Saturday night - the little girl who, apart from the day she went missing, was seen by all her neighbours on a daily basis.

Ok....had to go cry. I have not read all the posts but, I think they found her is the woods. But, forensics checking on side of home right now.

Here you need one of these  I had to step outside and take a breather myself. It is so hard when you get wrapped up in these cases, especially when it is a child.

I think we will see an arrest in the near future or at least I hope the case will be wrapped up quickly.

HLN now reporting that the body of precious child was most likely Jenise PER a police officer on the case.

It almost sounds like they aren't sure yet whether this was accidental or intentional.

My thinking is that if she was found in a sheet or blanket, LE would go into her home to see if they can find matching blankets, pillow cases etc. Same thing for bags, suitcases, etc.

Parents involved, parents not involved. They let her run free when times are dangerous. They didn't miss her until 24 hours after they'd last seen her. They were wrong, so wrong. Horrible lessons learned after the fact, if her parents aren't involved. Jenise, I am so sorry <3

They have been called something like "exceptionally cooperative" recently. I think LE isn't pointing the finger at the parents at this point and wants the public to understand that.

I'm way behind in reading, but I keep seeing people wonder about this. To me, it's in LE best interest to string possible poi's along and let them think they believe them/are their friends. It keeps them talking, puts down their guard, mistakes will be made and LE can get more cooperation while they investigate.

i dont think it "sounds like" anything yet, because they arent saying anything. they may already know/strongly suspect that this is a homicide or not, but we have no way to know.
