Any idea why mom isn't speaking or wasn't? Maybe she did and I missed it.

The lack of specific info coming from the home is astounding to me. Am I the only one? Very unusual- isn't it? The last seen and items worn are very important in a case. I don't understand this at all.
The mother not speaking out, is another huge, red flag to me. I feel like I am in the twighlight zone of missing persons (now found murdered) cases.
If this is happening to help the investigation than I am all for it.
I just honestly don't understand... it makes me very suspicious of the persons in the home. MOO
I keep thinking more than one person was involved. God, I hope I'm wrong.Carrying Jenise out there would be tiring for just one person without a vehicle. Possibly more than one person? Use of a large gym bag like a hockey bag?
But the reason police cleared JH's husband was because he agreed to take a poly and passed it too.
Otherwise, LE would probably not have spoken out on the subject.
I seldom hear LE announce that a husband has been cleared. They usually say something less definitive leaving a little uncertainty imo.

Now I know why I was confused. There was a step daughter invoved in the court case.
If that was New Year's Eve of 2000? The 16 yo could be theirs, but I don't think so.

Wow! 9:55pm on Sunday was the time of the first 911 call- reporting Jenise missing.

I'm not sure how many vehicles and responders were on the scene. If there was a grave, though, I would expect to see a large team of forensic investigators, who would have been out there for many hours gathering evidence and sifting through soil. It seems like someone would have reported that type of presence. The only ravine in the area is likely to be the one that goes down to the creek that runs parallel to the MHP. One reason the perp would get muddy would be if he/she crossed the creek and climbed up the other side. With the heavy overgrowth even if the creek is dry right now and we don't know if it is or not the banks are going to be wet and muddy pretty much year round.
It doesn't mean she wasn't buried but around here most creek areas are sloppy enough that anyone hiking near them will have to deal with walking through mud.

ok. Settled. I am an only child married to an only child. I am just trying to figure it out the family dynamics. The parents got a marriage license in March 1997, per Whatcom County online marriage records. The 16, 12 and 8 yr old all have the same last name as the parents.
I have so many questions about this family. I'll wait for further notice to begin posting them. Sitting on my fingers until then.
While yes, there are numerous male victims, by and far it is more likely for a female child to be sexually abused/assaulted. For a female child, statistics show that 1 of 3 girls will be sexually assaulted or abused. It is 1 in 7 for male children. So technically, little boys ARE safer than girls from a statistic standpoint, but I do not think any parent should take risks.

I am very unclear regarding who exactly was at home Saturday night. I don't think it's ever been stated explicitly, or at least, if it has, I haven't seen it.
