No, I was mistaken on the date. I really screwed up on the date. Sorry. I knew it was the day after the body was found that I heard it, , but got the dates wrong. .
Re what my friend heard, it was only about the bag. supposedly heard from a coroner's office part time worker.

That's what I'm thinking. But, if so, what kind of footprint? I mean, it can't be a regular footprint due to the thick vegetation covering the ground.

I SPECULATE it may have been a bloody footprint.

I think it may be significant that this series of LE markers started at about mid-way through the brushy-area (i.e., halfway down the hillside and ending at the beach).

I do. Circumstances are consistent wth something taking place in the clearing(s). The question is what took place there.

No. I think it was determined earlier that it is not related.

2. This could have been the perps washing evidence off the car.

3. This could have been the perps washing their new prize for a joy ride.

As awful as it is to consider, MC could have even been in the back seat or the trunk while this was going on, alive or not. JMO.

IMO:
The car wash only makes sense if it was done to remove possible evidence -- either at a car wash or with a hose at the CB house.
