Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all your hard work.

My first post though I've visited this thread many times. Like the rest of the community I'm praying for a swift and just conclusion to this tragedy. I've nothing of substance to add other than the following online video featuring the last known photo of MC in which her braces are clearly visible.

I will probably get alot of slack for this, but I really don't believe the mother is a "grieving mother". I am sorry but I would be screaming in the streets if anything happened to my kids. My friend lost her son 2 weeks ago, and I can't even get over it. I just want to do anything for her to get her son back. The fact that the stepdad drove Mac everywhere is a big sign to me. Sorry to be ruthless.

What about the "grieving father"? You don't see him in the streets either. Also, it's my understanding it's the FATHER not sepdad that drove her everywhere.

You mean the call from that Chelan place is a business?? And the license to it is Custom Homes By Cowell?? Alright if that is the case... I have goosebumps. Too much for coincidence!!

When this was previously brought up, it did make my hinky meter go off. But IIRC, it was readily discounted as unconnected by a WSer (And I bought it.). Hmmmm.... seems like it very well could be somethin'!

Maybe the person who owns a car similar to Mackenzie's (was it pufnstuf?) can tell us if there is a panic alarm on the car's key fob?

Could the perp have been running from Mackenzie's car, with her keys, and accidentally set off the panic alarm on the key fob?

Or, IF RC had notified his brother and SIL (?) that Mackenzie's car had been abandoned up near the family business - causing them to be on 'high alert'; and upon hearing a neighbor's panic alarm sounding called it in, "just in case"?

Has anyone seen this? Some of the reports seem to be from WW but others are not. There are discrepancies in MC height & weight, incorrect information on when her car was found BUT there is some other information I have not seen before. It also states the Family has put up the reward money.

I have seen those discrepancies and it is INCORRECT to say the family put up the reward money. MC's friends collected the original amount and local businesses donated the rest.

Regarding the 911 call in Chelan, according to the above mentioned WW article (bbm):

"Do investigators look at these sites?

Yes, says Mike Harum, Chelan County sheriff. He wasn’t familiar with Websleuths but said investigators “read every one of them” posted about Cowell on The Wenatchee World’s site.

He noted that recently a poster on the site asked if anyone had noticed an entry on the sheriff’s office log from Feb. 9 that came right after the entry about Cowell’s car being found abandoned up Pitcher Canyon. The call was about a panic alarm at a building in Chelan. The poster had traced ownership of the building to a member of the Cowell family and wondered if there might be a connection.

Turns out there wasn’t a connection to the case, but it was a situation that law enforcement was not aware of until the commenter pointed it out, Harum said."

So it would seem that LE does not think there is a definite connection to the events surrounding MC.

Items were also taken from a home that sits just 30 yards away from Cowell's body, but the Chelan County sheriff would not categorize those items as evidence.

But investigators hope it will give them a few new clues to at least narrow down their search for a killer.

Asked specifically about that, Jones said, “In this part of the case, we feel our results are a very important part of the investigation, possibly being able to tie him or her to the crime scene.”

I was the one that posted the call in Chelan on this thread originally. I found it on another site. Someone told me right away that it was Chelan and I just dismissed it. I don't know how to do all those fancy business searches so thank you!! I don't feel like an idiot now!!

My hunch tells me that they know who this is, and it is someone that knew Mackenzie. The reason I say this is because of the Huffman murders. They said they didn't have a suspect at first, but they jumped on arresting the killer immediately, and I imagine it was out of fear that he would strike again. That crime was random.

I think they are crossing their t's and dotting their i's so they have everything in place to make an arrest. I think they want to make sure they do everything exactly perfect so nothing slips through a loophole.

This is just my theory, I don't know this, but it just seems this way because of the lack of information they are releasing and the fact that they are being so tight lipped.

In the article in the WW regarding cybersleuths it would appear that this panic alarm is unrelated and had been previously discussed on an earlier thread. It did get the attention of LE, however, it looks like they have looked into it and found no connection to this case.

If I'm reading the report correctly, that call came in about 45 after MC's car was reported in PC.

I was quoting Kenon's post that a stepdad was driving her around. I think he was referring to the earlier post that Mac's dad did most of her transportation before she got her own car.

Ok... in regards to the walk for MC yesterday....and only 20 people showing up, which all appear to be MC's friends and their parents. If it were one of my girls, and say WC DOESNT have the money to contribute to the reward fund, then I would be out there posting poster and signs all over about the walk, I'd be spreading it by word of mouth to try to get as many people possible out there!!! I dont understand why her family was no where to be seen in the pictures or video of the walk. :waitasec:

Also, someone previously said that LE was at the CB property through sunday... well my mom got to CB on sunday night and before she could even get out of her truck, her and her fiancee were approached by the FBI and briefly questioned. I went down there that monday(2/15) and there were still several LE cars at the property and there WAS still tape blocking off the driveway from CB rd and all over.

That doesn't sound right, IIRC. It was (allegedly) her bio-dad, not her step-dad that drove her places. Mac doesn't even have a step-father. And it was her bio-dad that allegedly paid her grandfather (maternal) to drive Mac places, at times. IIRC.

It was stated that RC reimbursed (paid) WC's father, MC's grandfather, to pick her up and take her to activities, etc.

It was her father that drover her everywhere. She doesn't have a stepdad.

Just a correction of facts. MC does not HAVE a step dad. Her father, RC, drove MC around most of the time, due to the fact that WC was the main contractor in her own business. RC, before the divorce, worked with her, but I wouldn't say he was a contractor, lining up subs, etc. That is what WC did. RC had a lighter schedule, and was happy to transport his daughter. Moo.

RE: WC not being a grieving mother? We do not know or can even comprehend what she is going through. First she is criticized for doing what you said - Screaming in the streets...when rescuers were looking for the lost snowmobiler, instead of focusing ALL their attention on MC. I do believe she is very grief stricken, and in no way involved in this heinous crime against her daughter. Just because she has a stoic personality does not implicate her of a crime.

Dear Mackenzie....I am finally going to be able to hold your hand at the very least tomorrow...my heart is empty...my grief un-reproachable...I miss you soo much...never had this many days without many texts and at least a call with an "I love you mamma", or "I am home at dad's" note...I miss texting you...my life is ...empty and your brothers are lost without you...no matter what.... we were always together...loving and strong...our lives are shaken...we still love you though more than you ever knew...but now you do and I know you knew we did...it's just different than every other family now...we would give anything...anything to have you back...I am just glad that you knew that and knew we loved you and now we know you are with the angels, Grandma, great grandma, Jay, Bill Sr. , Mikayla, my big sister, and all the others that God has assigned.
