He's comfortable that they are moving forward in getting things done.

Wow, her level of cooperation clearly has gone down. He's trying to be careful, but his change of words, "I won't categorize her as cooperative or uncooperative" and the public invitation for an interview...it's pretty darned obvious.

He's heard things about her mental state, but does not feel comfortable discussing it.

(He looks tired)

10:30/3:30 schedule set to continue through the holiday weekend.
Very grateful for the amount of tips coming in. I wish I could report to you that many of those tips have led to major breaks in the case, however that is not the case.

Discussions about talking to Julia again, been some urgency on your part about why you are waiting. I'd like to make a public invitation to Julia via her attorney that we are ready to talk to her whenever she is ready.

A few things crossed off the list in terms of limiting possibilities/suspects, nothing specific to share, but things are progressing.
Acura testing hasn't been done, expect it to be done today.
Also working on polygraphs: continuing as we talked about earlier, hoped to polygraph as many people close to Julia as possible. Still continuing but we don't want to share the information of who and when. They are welcome to share the information but we are holding that close to our vest.

You spend x numbers of hours clearing people—how helpful would it be for people to come forward and clear their name?
The investigation would move much quicker if people would do that.
We haven't had any resistance to polygraph testing, everyone has been cooperative.
Polygraph or not we have questions of Julia we'd like to ask through her attorney.
Don't want to characterize her as non-cooperative.
A number of things on our investigative checklist being checked off, I can't share a lot of those details, but we're comfortable that we're moving forward. We don't know more than yesterday about what happened to him. It's also helpful to cross people off the list.

Her mental health: I'm not in a position to comment on her mental health and stability but I've heard things about it as well.
One picture of Sky and multiple of daughter on facebook page. They can't share if there were pics of Sky on the walls, refrigerator. Holding that info close.
No tip is wasted time.
The most obscure detail may be relevant in this case.

SVU Episode: He watched part of it, there's some similarities and we are considering it as part of the investigation. It's intriguing, but it's not the break we're looking for.
At this point, the issue of forcing Julia to talk to us is not even on the table.
We're considering Sky alive and well and we're hoping she'll help us bring him home.

The most "obscure detail" may be important. Encouraging people to call.

SVU episode: Some similarities. Something they are considering. Is it the break they are looking for? No. Is it intriguing? Yes.

The issue of "forcing her in to talk to us" is not an issue.

HA..."We'll see you in the morning."

(I'm getting the impression this is all about pressuring Julia).

IMO watching that last exchange at the presser, it's "we don't have enough to arrest her, but she did it."

Trust me, I have a mountain of evidence on my ex, they won't arrest him because they don't want him to get off at the end. This guy--he's got a face I've seen too many times before.

I think these PC's are an effort to make someone crack and it's not Julia.

He wont categorize her as cooperative or un. lol That means un.

Hmm. Who do you think it is?

It was interesting to me, that he made a "public plea" for Julia to come in and answer questions.

Again, I really like this guy. I just wish that woman would let him run the PC and not cut it off. There was audible groaning in the room when she said this is the last question, and he had to say no we'll take a couple more.

I think it's partly for Julia, but I did get a strong feeling there is a person or two he's trying to get to come forward.

I agree, to make a point of saying that they would have the 10:30/3:30 pressers even when there is nothing new to say and through the holiday weekend tells someone(s) that they aren't going away, so you might as well talk.

What I took from this PC:

Julia is not cooperating

that plus the car having gas when she said it did not...

well, this is looking worse and worse by the day.

IMO

I heard that too, but he was VERY clear that they've been met with no resistance at all in asking peripherals to come in, or cooperate.

I don't sense any family - except Julia - has been less than fully cooperative.

The PC are so cleverly scripted. You just have to read between the lines. Sort of like a Choose Your Own Adventure book. Im a fan of his careful and deliberate choice in words.

I see that way of thinking, but yet they're still testing the car. There is an outside chance - I still think - that there was something ELSE wrong with the car that made it shut off and she assumed it was gas.

I don't know if anyone else has had this sort of thing happen - where the car would just "die" and it can be very difficult to diagnose. My guess is, they're going to put a lot of miles on the car trying to get it to do that again, unlike my mechanic who would drive the car around the block a few times and shrug. I bet if this goes on much longer they'll put several hundred more miles on the car trying to see this again.

And did anyone count the times he said Julia? A drinking game could be made from the PC. For not being names a suspect her name was certainly used more than the missing child. Smoke them out!

He knows she has an attorney and a good defense attorney would not allow her client to be questioned unless there is something in it for them. IMO, LE would be in contact with the attorney if they want their client to talk to them and not make it public.

These PC's are trying to make someone else come forward. I haven't listened to the PC's but LE should really try to tug at someone's heart strings. They might just get someone to come forward.
