Yvonne Reglar seems like a great match; six days' hitchhiking might have taken her right to where the Doe was found, if she had run away. The physical description seems right on and the face is a pretty good match too, based on the one poor photo.

However it ain't her - she's rule out on Porchlight :(

Her shorts are described as very short.
At the time of the initial autopsy, they thought she was from the East, fue to the condition of her teeth (flouridated water).
At later autopsy the two reconstructions were found on her upper front teeth, plus another filling and it was discovered that her wisdom teeth were not developed fully.
Killer thought she was a little older because she was mature and he helped with the hairstyle for the composite.

She looks about 13 to me, which makes her height unusual....but actually, if she was for sure under 20, then her height would stand out. She would be the tall girl in the class who had two fillings in her front teeth. She apparently refused drugs and was anxious to get home, of course that is from the confession of the man who killed her so ya gotta figure she was feeling pretty threatened at some point during this encounter.

I actually love her watch and wonder if it was a woman's watch or a man's watch? I think that she might be wearing men's shoes as well because I was a teen during that era, but don't remember wearing a basketball shoe type sneaker....then again, we wore clogs.

Ponderin...

I am a moron! (sp?) I didn't even ask for a list of rule outs. I just emailed detective.

I am certian some mentioned are ruled out due to my conversations.

Marie Florence Angiras, Cherry Ann Moser Iacovone, I think I posted these earlier.

I rec'd an auto response the agent on this case is out until Monday...I hope to quickly get a list of RULE OUTS so that it will save us some time.

I will update you all as I am.

Dang it! Thank you, Cymro!

Most likely I'm stating the obvious but it helps me to see all these little pieces in print.
After reading your post it occurred to me that the sneakers may be an indicator of where she came from, ex...rural as oppossed to a city and the type of activities she did.
Sneakers weren't worn as extensively as they are today. I grew up in a state park and we wore sneakers more often than "The Townies".

o/t..The basketball sneaks were converse hightops...ring a bell....they were the in thing around here in those days...LOL
It is true about the clogs and don't forget the platform shoes...LOL...

Shame on me for not checking Porchlight first to check if Yvonne had been matched to Jane Doe before. :/ Thanks, though.

It doesn't sound likely at all that Yvonne had run away from home, but it's also hard to tell if Roth was telling the truth about the girl being a hitchhiker vs. someone he abducted.

I've searched up to last names beginning with 'M' on the National Center for Missing adults website - then the site threw a wobbly and I stopped being able to see any photos? No possibles thus far.

I've also looked through the doe network unexplained disappearencesindex pages 65 - 114 with no possible matches - I can't find anyone who was that tall when they went missing.

Would it be worth co-ordinating where we are searching so instead of all possibly looking in the same places, we can cover more ground? Just a thought anyway.

There really needs to be one central website where every single missing person can be entered and then you can search on different vitals and dates last seen, went missing etc.

Has LE released the interview with DR? It would be interesting to hear what exactly he recounts. How did she talk? Did she use alot of slang. Just thinking that certain phrases, slang could be area specific.

I looked at her Porchlight listing and it gives her height as 5'6-5'10. Any way of finding out for sure, which is correct? The nespaper articles are all over the place too, one says 5'8, one says 5'10. ARGH!!!

They also have her possible date of birth as anywhere 1-1-1952 - 12-31-1960, which is a handy little thing to have written down.

Goodness me, we really need to know the correct height! Have now finished searching the entire NCMA website with no possible matches for anyone who is 5'10 - this may of course be irrelevant now

Forgive my ignorance, but is Washington State on the border with Canada? If so there is a possibility the deceased may be from Canada and was had hitched down from there. I can't find any decent websites on missing people from Canada, would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?

I like Diane Schulte quite a bit!!! Wonder if grey gums would have stood out to the killer, though...I mean that is really different....

A lot of times they don't know the exact height. Or weight. Or anything for sure, really. Most of what they give are just good guesses. Approximations. It doesn't make matching them up very easy, but unfortunately, sometimes they just don't know for sure on the details.

I know that, but there are usually not this many differences, not to mention that according to the UDRS her height was not an estimation, but an exact measurement.

This list was compiled more on date when last seen and facial appearance than on height, weight etc.

This missing teenager(barely) looks alot like her!

Her height is off, but then again, she was only 13 and this happened to the Jane Doe six years later, at 13, 5'4" is tall to me, she had lots of growing time, too! I realize Michigan & Washington are a pretty good ways apart, but, when you are hitchhiking....well, you all understand!
I'll be watching to see what you all have to say about this child!

How about if we get her onto CityData.com, People Search? I wonder if that might either scare up some locals who had rumor type info or even some Canadians to who she looked familiar?
