And if he is serious about welcoming local and national assistance in solving the crime, WHY do we get reports that credible pro bono LE specialists offers are turned down? And, why is it common knowledge that the FBI is waiting for the BPD to re-invite them into the case so their assistance can be used?

Folks, I've been stirred up by all of this 20-year stuff, but now I'm MAD!

For one thing, the trailer for the A&E special confirmed my suspicions: there's nothing new here. It's the same old garbage we'd expect from David Mills and the usual suspects repackaged for a new audience. One thinks of a cicada showing up every few years. And among the normal RST bulls**t is the tired, worn-out claim that anyone in the original investigation who believed in the intruder theory was dismissed. We've heard that one, right? But anyone who actually knows about this case knows that they were dismissed because they were unprofessional at best, deliberately broke the law at worst (and I'm looking at you, Lou Smit). Both Alex Hunter and Mary Lacy believed in the intruder theory like a Jesuit believes in Christ. If they got rid of people on their team, it's because those people were drawing too much negative attention.

But that's not the half of it. No, no. I'm speaking directly to YOU, John Ramsey. You say the Boulder police were convinced you did it? Yeah, that's the funny thing about police in this country: they have a knack for zeroing in on killers. But for you, an elderly, white, wealthy businessman to talk about being the "victim" of a "lynch mob" is just the latest in a SERIES of indignities that you and those who side with you, whether they were hired by you or just threw in with you, have perpetrated against the memories of the REAL victims, not just the little victim in this case, but ALL the victims of REAL lynchings!

Let me show you something, John. THIS is what a lynching looks like:

AFAIK, no one is forcing him to give an interview, but I do completely understand your sense of this. As you mention, if BDI, most people can understand a parent’s reaction of circling the wagons, so to speak, to protect their son. I would not do it, but I understand this impulse. What people cannot grasp is the adults' actions post concealment of the indictment by the DA. The non-action of the DA emboldened the Rs to go further on a campaign which ruined others’ reputations and demolished careers by innuendo, false reports, and lawsuits.

Here’s an interesting excerpt from PA’s book. She was the wife of JR’s pilot. PA housed the Rs when the DA said there would be no charges after the GJ concluded. Her book is actually very pro-Patsy, with a number of amazing distortions, like how neat and tidy Patsy was. However, also included in the book was a scene after AH announced to the press there would be no one charged. Patsy was watching a number of channels and news announcers discuss the lack of evidence for an indictment. There was, however, one woman commentator who stated she didn’t understand why they were not indicted since there was so much that pointed to both of them.

Patsy was agitated and said, “I want her name. We need to get our attorneys on her, and sue her for what she is saying.” Patsy was serious and mad that the woman was saying she didn’t understand why they were not indicted since there was so much that pointed to both of them. Yes, Patsy was hopping mad. She jumped up and down and said, “Write her name down as we need to get her for saying these things about us.”

Well, well ,well. Where's the charming, forgiving Southern belle who wouldn't say a bad thing about anyone that RST keeps telling us about?

Oh John is so predictable... what was done to us, blah, blah, blah. Not FIND the person who beat and murdered my baby daughter- God help us all- he is still out there. MY daughter deserves justice.

He is SO transparent- how IDI do not see this as a huge problem is beyond me.

Yeah, that's something I can't figure out to this day. When I think about all the people, even professionals who should have known better, who were suckered by him and Patsy, I just don't get it. How did they do it? They suckered me, and I still can't figure it out!

Oh really- as far as I know you are still alive and free as are your other children and your wife died of natural causes- unlike your daughter (the true victim here- how weird is that) who was actually strangled (lynched?) and murdered.

BBM. Yes, and I find it highly suspect that
a 9 year old would WILLINGLY stay in his room and pretend to be asleep at that point.
That much hubbub, had it been a real intruder, ransom note, and hysterical,
911 calling parents, would have kept both of my sons glued to my side at
9 years old, probably sobbing enough that when the police arrived only minutes later,
they would still be snuffling and nearly inconsolable. Burke was prepped by his parent(s)
to go to bed and pretend to be asleep, and quite calm about it considering it all.

Yeah I think everything that evening from the party to the final drive home needs to be placed under a microscope. For a moment they should forget about the murder, the staging, etc. and only focus on the hours that led up to it.

What I wouldn't give for the Whites to speak out... I mean really speak about events leading up to, during and after that fateful night.

I have to say tonight I have the strangest feeling that JR has pushed it too far and maybe, just maybe the Universe has had enough.

God love Steve Thomas and James Kolar for trying- there is still hope is what I took away from Kolars book and Super Dave, I loved your book too and understand just how much you (and so many others here) have given to this case.

I want justice for that sweet, strong willed, feisty little girl more then any other victim I have ever followed. Please let someone or something- anything shake loose, let someone get mad, or let someone in a position of power say enough is enough we are moving forward with another Grand Jury... something, anything to bring justice for that precious little girl.

Thank you to all of the brilliant, dedicated minds here. I am proud to be a member of such an incredible group of sleuthers and seekers of justice.

I think its more likely that Fleet and/or Priscilla got tricked into being accessories after the fact that morning(likely Fleet) and this would account for their unconventional stance on this case the past 20 years.

The Ramseys were so arrogant as to blame them for certain things and they could only do that knowing there would be no consequences by doing so.
