Somebody needs to remind ALV a man is DEAD! This is not a Comedy Revue. Jodi admittedly murdered a man. She stabbed, shot and butchered a MAN. He is DEAD.

Jodi planned to go to Travis' home and murder him.

Honestly? I don't think she cares.

Wow! It's amazing how it just so happens she mentions all the pertinent points of her testiphoney in the 5/22 journal entry. Phone stolen - check. Mimi - check. "Scandalous text message - check. Recorded phone calls - check. She even says she never figured out how to play back the phone calls for him and goes on and on about how she doesn't want those calls and messages to come to light - yeah right.

And she called him bi-polar - suuuuuurrrreeeee, he's the bi-polar one!

And, did you notice in the part about having 'the talk' with Travis, and she writes that TA said it was not working out with Mimi, she makes one of those [not really] errors where you can tell she is writing for an audience.

"The problem w/Travis is that he's so used to guys [line through guys] girls falling all over themselves for him and she doesn't do that."

For real? Jodi can't keep straight the sexual orientation of her supposed boyfriend of months/years?

There is so much pre-post meditation in this journal.

I hope Juan uses the journal with ALV, that would be poetic. Show how if you cherry pick out of it, you can show JA was the abuser and it was she who was escalating the abuse, right into murder, the ultimate abuse.

Because that would have given her motive to kill him. At this point, she is denying ever having gone there, that their relationship was wonderful, that she had no jealousy at all, that everything was perfect.

Putting in abuse stories would have raised red flags.

She hadn't yet conceived the abuse defense. Her original story was, "wasn't there," then, "ninjas," only after Samuels and Nurmi confronted her, YEARS later, did she come up with defending herself from an abuser.

That is an excellent question! I had heard or read that his journals had been 'stolen' and I assumed it was Jodi. And lo and behold, the defense has them! I find this rather suspicious.

Poor Travis. He didn't know he was dealing with a creature from hell.

I just wish we knew the truth but when the victim is dead the real truth will never be known.

I have read a lot of the texts and emails but the one where Travis was so angry and upset is different. Something very serious happened for Travis to be that upset with her.

That was one of the things that made me so livid yesterday when ALV took it on her own to be a crystal ball reader and said it proved he was an abuser. If she wasn't filled with so much bias she would have gotten to the bottom of it WHY he became so upset with Arias but she seems to dismiss everything that may put her in a bad light.

I don't think he knew she was coming there that day. I think she snuck in. She had his garage key pad code.

Also I've been thinking. lol If Travis was so sexually attracted to her then why didn't they have sex right away? I'm sure a lot of us have had times we have had to be away from our partner and missed them sexually as well and cant wait to have sex with each other. After all she had moved in April and he hadn't seen her since she moved. But according to Arias they go to sleep and sleep until after 1? What couple does that when sex is suppose to be everything in this relationship? What young couple waits 7-8 hours to have sex when nothing is stopping them from having it when she walked in the door around 3-4 in the morning? Something just isn't right.

And to me Juan really cant prove that Travis even had sex that day. I listened closely to his OS awhile ago and the two photos of Travis laying on the bed are the only two of Travis other than the shower pics and crime pics and we know he is not aroused in those photos.

I wasn't there for the afternoon session just the morning up until the lunch break.

For that part of the trial they all looked very bored. Juror number 3 was taking notes most of the time and then only a few others took very sporadic notes.

I definitely saw at least four of the men jurors fall asleep at one time or another.

I thought the jury would be a bit more diverse in ethnicity than what it was. All white except one hispanic juror.

(I'm new to this site so if I post anything I'm not supposed please let me know.)

There is a court insider thread for Q&A of people who attended the sessions. And, you need to meet the other WS members who go for happy hour after court with some friends of Travis.

You were there on a strange day (although this whole case is anything but "the usual"). What was your overall impression of the feeling in the room? Pro prosecution? Tired/bored of it all? etc?

Do you plan to go again?

ETA. Jurors were "named" early on by one of our posters who attended. I think you'll find that list on the front page of the insiders thread. It been very helpful.

It is gratifying to me, as an Arizona taxpayer, that we use all of our state tax liability in the form of tax credits to the public and parochial school tax credit programs, and therefore ZERO of our hard-earned tax dollars have gone to JA's defense.

I personally have issues with a dismissed juror making a statement about "no statement" then showing up at the trial. Is there any better way to assure one will be the center of attention? Then claiming they have to go home and talk to their "legal advisors."

It's not about her and she just made herself the center of the circus. Legal advisors? She's a dismissed juror. GMAB

I thought she was very polite in reminding the press that she isn't giving any statements until it's over. In doing that, they should all conclude that that's all they are going to get out of her. :dunno:

A lot of what LaViolette says seems just plain wrong. For example, she testified that the evidence shows that Travis was jealous, and there is no trace of Jodi being jealous. But Jodi's diary said:
I certainly wasn't thrilled - no - I was DEVASTATED when I discovered that he wasn't being faithful to me. I just don't get why men cheat!!! ... Infidelity is so awful and causes rediculous [sic] pain. ... Each time the transgressor seemed grieved that I got hurt.
This proves that Jodi was jealous. LaViolette also testified that Jodi did not write about her being abused because she believed in the law of attraction. But the above diary shows that Jodi did write negative things about Travis.

Update: The defense complained about the release of documents and videos, and asked that the jury be sequestered. The judge said no. The documents and video seem to contradict what the defense experts are saying, and the defense does not want the jury to see that.

Martinez is awesome. He is 100% right, she can see abuse in the myth of Snow White, even though of course that story is a fantasy. Just like Jodi's.
