Just seems to me ALV's arrogance allow her to believe she can just do what she wants.

- Speaks over Judge when there is an objection
- Admits to lying on the stand
- Approaches a member of the victim's family
- Asks to use the bathroom in the middle of testimony
- Gets on the stand but forgets to bring her glasses

Did i miss anything?

I really think she has been a huge pain in the backside for everyone involved in the trial, including the DT.

Great post! Don't you agree that the questions from the jury had a tone that they were mocking her and letting her know they were not buying what she was selling about the defendant?

I thought her face looked pained when she said that.

It should be.

I don't know how she's gonna sleep at night when she learns what she wasn't privy to

I am behind in posts...
....
But

Respectfully ....please stop bashing juror 11 on his attire. We haven't even seen him yet. Goodness. OUR court observers loved him....

Who cares what he wore. I hope he feels better, and I hope its not too serious.

:cow:

Another question that I have that I can't seem to find the answer to is the info about DB posting Twitter posts for JA. This just doesn't seem right somehow, but I don't know what the law says about it. If it goes, we are going to see thousands of prisoners with Twitter accounts in the coming years. Very creepy!

I agree with you and hope she gets LWOP...I feel a bit different then you do, I think the DP should be for someone that murders 2 or more people, mass murderers and serial killers.

Plus after all the appeals of the DP that JA will apply for it will cost more money than if they would have just given her LWOP in the first place. MOO and all that.

BBM...Bothers me too:cry::nerves:

I wish there was an option like Life without Parole with solitary confinement. Being confined with no access to writing or drawing materials and no one to talk to would be worse than death for her.

Without being confined she will be a big fish in prison.

I feel the same way.

For people that think Alyce will ever change her mind on Travis, don't hold your breath.

She is doing what she was hired for, collect her money {$45,000???}, then go home.

Then she will attempt to profit a second time by continuing her relationship with Jodi

and write her best selling book.

ALV does not care one bit about Travis nor his family, never has, never will. Clearly.

She has added considerably to her retirement fund. That was what it was all about..

There ARE thousands of prisoners with twitter...facebook...eharmony....prisonhookup....etc....

Sad but true.

ETA: If JA gets LWOP she will have MORE access to these privileges than she does now. She will be a star. :furious:

That knife is frightening looking. Getting sick thinking of Travis getting stabbed so many times. May Travis RIP.

I've always thought that's some kind of person who could force a knife like that, deep into another person, thru bone and body mass. And keep on going with it @ that. That's insane meaness.

I'm projecting myself, I know it. A woman I knew years ago (she was my intern at one of my first jobs out of college) went to England on an exchange. I had plans to go to England in the fall. Before she left, she said, "Let's meet up when you come to the UK and hang out."

I said, "Yes, let's e-mail and keep in touch."

She was one of those ultra happy people always looking for the silver lining. I asked her one morning if she drank! :floorlaugh: Seriously, she was that chirpy.

She was super friendly but I never really thought she really wanted to meet up. We all say these things to each other when we part ways after college, from one job to another, from one gym to another. We exchanged a few e-mails over that summer and that was it. I wasn't surprised or disappointed because I thought we were exchanging social niceties.

In early October (my trip was mid October), she sent an e-mail asking where I'd be staying. A few days later, she e-mailed train schedules and maps from my hotel . She was in York and I was in London so it was quite the train trip. Beautiful though.

When the train pulled into the station, I didn't recognize her. She'd had a hair cut and was wearing a stylish scarf around her hair and she was just glowing. We talked about her boyfriend back home and a new guy she'd met in York. She was fascinated with him and conflicted by her feelings for her bf back home. She said she'd date this new guy and see how she felt over the winter break when she returned home.

We didn't keep in touch for a while after I left York but she'd sent me away with recommended books and asked me to pass them on after I read them. She sent a couple of letters and one of the letters was how she was engaged. When she got back to Holy Cross, she could not stop thinking about him.

Mutual friends said that she moved to England and shortly afterwards, she and her husband and new baby moved back here.

I never saw her again. Her husband shot her in the head and their daughter Lilian whilst they slept. And during the trial he claimed she was depressed and that she killed herself and the baby. Was he out of his MF mind? OMG.

He was found guilty and rots in prison. You've probably heard about the case. My friend was Rachel Souza. I refuse to ever refer to her by her married name, which was Entwhistle.

I know I'm too caught up in this case but there is just something obscene and truly pornographic to take someone's life and decide to take the only thing the dead have: their dignity and honor.

So I'm ambivalent about the DP but I know I want her to be convicted. I want her to know we all judge her and find her wanting. I want her in a little cell with no one to admire her and take photos and film her every move and report on her every blink.

She already thinks she's won because she took what no other woman will ever have. But she's still a flaming narcissist who needs constant validation and I want her in a plain little cell with only herself for company for ever and ever and ever.

I want her in a panic now that the sand is running out of the hourglass and I want her to sweat. And I want the Alexander family to make their impact statements and then I want the jury to verbally body slam her with their sentence, whatever that may be.

So, I'll keep posting smarty arse comments about the trial but I'm never forgetting what it's about. And it isn't a spectator sport for me. I'm a heat seeking missile where this chick is concerned and I have no shame about it. :)

OMG, another late night vent. I swear I don't drink or drug. lol

I agree completely. Sorry to hear about your friend.

.25 caliber stolen May 28

.25 caliber bullet recovered

The same, and no coincidence either. I keep going back to the sink photo, the last time TA was standing. It shows no evidence that he was shot first, the blood would stream on the right side only, and it doesn't. It shows his hand prints getting up or down from the sink on the right side : (

The smoking gun?!? we know where it came from, and I think it was used last.

There was a response from the Sheriff posted on ?NG show last night, in which he said she and every other prisoner had access to telephones 16hrs a day.
She could call her friend and that friend posts on Twitter. There is nothing illegal in it so he can't do much about it while she is still on trial....!
TH's on NG show said let her do it, she wants to be an idiot and cause herself more problems, knock yourself out.

Are you talking about Donavon, Jodi's friend, who is tweeting for Jodi?

I did look today and some of the tweets have been deleted. The one about short man syndrome and shooting Nancy Grace the bird.

If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
If you are going to lie in public and demonize an innocent man who has been murdered by a sociopath be prepared to receive hefty criticism.

BBM

YOU SAID IT!! If you are going to declare yourself an 'expert' witness and step up to the plate when you know that there is going to be national TV coverage and subsequent internet coverage you had BETTER step it up.

After watching all of this and watching ALV stick to her story in the FACE of the facts I'm beginning to wonder if there aren't some mental health issues that need to be addressed there.

I have witness blatant bias before in the courtroom but not by an expert witness in this hot of a trial.

I'm stunned and disturbed by this whole thing. Knowing that someone like this could get up in court and testify as an expert and potentially just RUIN your life while you are innocent really disturbs me.:furious:

Re: AVL returning Tuesday. I remember feeling something big was up on the day (YouTube, croaker queen, Day 44, Part 1) Juan was crossing ALv about the texts between Travis and Reagan Hously in which he stated he was "extremely afraid" based on "Jodi's stalking behavior." IIRC, AVL was being very sneaky about the answers to his questions and JM had to ask the judge to approach several times to see if he could "ask that question we've been talking about". Eventually, jury was excused, and AVL was taken out of the courtroom and the defense attorneys went with her. When she came back, she finally agreed with the content of the text message as Juan described it.

I remember thinking at the time that either she was getting served with a subpoena out in the hallway or getting warned by the attorneys that she had better quit lying.

I am now wondering if any of what was going on that morning is what this Tuesday thing is about.

Near the end of Alyce's testimony today she said that she believed she got the "Jodi shooting in the closet" info from Dr Samuels...is this a no-no? Is she allowed to be privy to someone else's testimony, and then use is as her own while she's on the stand?

Great question. Let's unleash the lawyers.

I wonder if that is why she was crying today?

After hearing more of the juror questions, I honestly am curious if reality is finally settling in for her? Doesn't the defense only have one more witness, one being recalled after having already testified?

It does not look good for JA.

MOO

Would someone please tell me how to fix my margins? I keep refreshing but the type is still very tiny. TIA
