What didn't Casey count on?

I don't think KC counted on her neighbor telling LE she borrowed his shovel.

I don't think she counted on LE bringing cadaver dogs to her house and them making a hit.

And how right she is, she is going to be the center of everyones attention once this trial is over and she's put in the general pop. I'm sure she'll be wishing someone else had all the attention then....

She was probably hoping that the Presidential election would take the attention from her.

Casey didn't count on the same 'ol lies not having the same 'ol results. Ruh Roh.

There are so many things she didn't count on, wonderful examples throughout this thread.

I think the main one was Cindy calling cops.

I think KC didn't count on the car being towed.

She probably also didn't count on withdrawal from computer/cellphone to be so hard on her, either. It would have probably been easier for her to withdraw from drugs/alcohol than it's been withdrawing from computer/cellphone.

I already answered this question in November and January under different threads:

IMO, she thought a missing Caylee would just "fly under the radar" like many other missing child cases--most likely undetected, most certainly not garnering such huge attention from LE, the public, the media, etc.

She didn't count on anyone completely following up on all of her lies and believing them. Starting with her job, the nanny, the extra cell phone, the location of drop off and all the stories afterwards. Most importantly was that she did not count on how messy it would be to dispose of her daughter, play the victim and cover her tracks. The computer, phone and physical forensics will lay out the entire case. She didn't count on all the forensics...

I believe KC didn't count on not being treated as a victim,no matter what she told LE.

I don't believe she counted on a defamation lawsuit as a result of her lies. She didn't count on it being a big, difficult hurdle to her case, either.

She didn't count on the police not falling under the spell of her "charm". She didn't count on the Police not thinking that she was so sexy that they would be hypnotized by her, and believe her lies.

Casey did not count on her "best friend" Amy spilling the beans on Casey's whereabouts to Casey's MOM, then leading Mom Cindy to Tony's where Casey was. I really liked that little scenario.

Casey did not count on her deeds sending her dad to a psychiatric hospital, on the verge of suicide.

Casey did not count on anyone finding Caylee's body (it's already been said), as she probably thought wild animals would take care of that for her. She forgot about bones, plastic and other things that didn't disappear. (I don't think she forgot. I think that Casey is missing part of her brain function that calls for common sense.)

Casey did not count on people with normal critical thinking skills, people following her trails of receipts, phone calls, shopping sprees on camera.

Casey did not count on Caylee always being a babbling baby who couldn't tell on her. Casey didn't count on losing some of her attention to Caylee as Caylee became part of the family and was doted upon.

Wow, excellent posts! I agree with ALL of them!

I feel KC thought Caylee would become a face on the bulletin board at walmart that people walk past. Missing children that are never heard from again. That was her plan and hope. JMHO

Haven't read through entire thread but she certainly didn't count on LE escorting her to her "office" at Universal Studios. Would have loved to seen the look on her face after she had to admit she really didn't work there - BUSTED!

she didn't expect to still be in Fla when they found her car,

Geez, seems like the only thing she did count was the "31 days" of her new "beautiful life" since she last saw her daughter.
