CA's brother has had me thinking for months now. His comment regarding GA's departure from the Ohio LE and that it would come out in court may be an important key.
Also KC's allegations against her father and brother, if we can believe anything KC says that is.
There are two important reasons listed above and we can only speculate until we know for sure.
IMO lying and covering are not new to at least the two A women. I believe they always clashed in personality, but they are still one and the same. :crazy:

Not sure how the move from Ohio when KC was little would relate to a murder last year. I doubt that the move will come up in court.

And, no. I don't think we can believe anything KC says. Except her name. Which is on her driver's license.

Casey did not complete HIGH SCHOOL. That is a major issue.

We don't really understand WHY she didn't finish high school (I have my
suspicions, but that is another thread).

Because she didn't finish high school....she couldn't get a decent job.
She felt worthy of a decent job..but employers aren't keen on people who don't
finish high school and for whatever reason she wouldn't get a GED (probably
self conscious about how having a GED makes one a "loser").

So...not only does she have the embarrassment of not graduating with her class, she can't get anything but a low wage job and THEN she gets pregnant too. She is so disturbed by this pregnancy thing she doesn't do anything about it..and finally Cindy catches on (in the 7th month!) and she proceeds to tell Casey what a screw up she is..etc etc.

Casey has a low paying job, no high school diploma, no steady boyfriend and her Mother INSISTS that she keep her "mistake".

From the age of when she should have graduated (17 or 18) to the age she is now (22) Casey has felt the normal natural urge to separate from her family. This is the job of all young adults..to separate from their parents. (Right, I know that she didn't deserve to separate from her parents, but she still likely wanted that). Certainly Casey saw all her young friends doing this and living on their own or with one another in roommate situations. The biggest trouble was that Casey was ill-equipped to support herself because she did not finish High School. The pregnancy that followed failing High School sealed her fate in the family as the "screw up". Young people who are very rebellious are doing the work of teenagers..they are doing their "job" of separating from their parents. Casey is no different than all young people in their desire to do this...but she had the extra feature of the baby that her Mother insisted that she keep.

Cindy "required" Casey to continue under Cindy's thumb..Cindy was so used to playing the martyr and "the boss", but Casey discovered how to be promiscuous and seized power in that way. The more Casey got tastes of "independent" living the more fed up she got with Cindy's rules. Casey didn't think that Cindy's rules should apply to her because she had moved into an "adult" world.

What Casey has over the Anthony's was:

1. (What they perceived as) the whereabouts of their Grandchild
2.
3. Youthful vigor and arrogance
4. A deep hatred (and give a **%t attitude) for her Mother (fueled by
the "requirement" to keep Caylee)

Big on education....good for you !!

KC *said* CA made her keep Caylee.....& it's no 'myth' that KC lies.

KC also *said* CA refered to Caylee as a 'mistake'.......however Lee says in his first interview he's never heard this until KC *says* it the night of July 15th....& again we all know that KC lies.


PS....KC simply using her parents as she always has.

I think they're scared to death of her. Don't forget - she didn't get this way overnight. They've lived with her for years. God only knows what went on behind closed doors. She has all the control.

Now a days alot of kids quit school then get a GED its not shamefull like it was twenty years ago.Also with just a high school dipolma you do not get a job where you can support yourself,not with everything costing so much unless you work 2 jobs. How do we know CA made her keep Caylee if you ask me she probably only got pregnant because Cindy probably told her if your not in school get a job.Then held that baby over CA head whenever she wanted something .JMO

IMO, kc threw fits of anger since she was young, getting worse as she was older. Everyone tip toed around KC. CA wanted a perfect HALLMARK family, but did not have it, so everyone had a role in covering up any bad acts of any family member even if they had to lie. To the world it looked like CA had her perfect family unit. All 4 fed off each other, used each other and created a huge family mess, IMO. If only all 4 would of seeked couseling to get straightened out.........CA seems like the only one that tried couseling, but it was to late. IMO

I agree with you. I think that they are afraid of her...not physically afraid of her but afraid of anything that they say will set her off. Living with someone that explosive would be hell in my book.

I think we all have a suspicion. But, hey, that is an area that is banned for discussion for whatever reason. I think it is banned because it might be too close to home for some posters. But, that is not why we are here, is it? Aren't we here to discus ideas?

Absent that, I think we are seeing not only a pathological horror; I think we are seeing a harbinger of many to come. The tone of parents and children today is "I know my child and my child would not lie". If your child has a pulse .... . Schools are facing horrible problems dealing with this type of parents; parents now have defined "involvement" as "I know more than any educator ... because I went to school!"

I am telling you to get ready. Schools are seeing these enmeshed parents in multitudes. And they are afraid.

The school's hands are tied as far as doing anything with those kids and when the teachers don't get any cooperation from the parents it becomes a real mess. When I was in school...years and years ago...the principal had a board in his office and many a boy got a few good swats with it when they really misbehaved. You messed up and you got suspended. Most parents worked with the teachers...not against them. It is the reverse now days in a lot of cases. I think the fault lies with the law, parents, and society.

She was like a half a credit short of graduating. I could have sworn that she did wind up getting that half credit. I could be wrong, though.

My thinking about her pregnancy is this: she didn't want mom and dad to know. I think she was going to dump the baby in a dumpster after giving birth. She had no intention of keeping Caylee. So she kept the wool over CA's eyes as long as she could.

Do we know for sure that Cindy and George didn't know Casey was pregnant until she was 7 months along? It seems to me that they knew but didn't want anyone at the wedding to know even though Casey was showing. What would the family think!!!!!!!!

Only after JB lands that $500,000 interview for her!! Of course...the price goes up after a conviction and would skyrocket if she were acquitted!

I think at the point where the August 14th video of the parents visiting Casey in jail, Casey knew where Caylee's body was and the grandparents GA and CA did not know where Caylee was. I think that's what she always held over their head whether she was in jail or later on out on bail.

Now that Caylee's body has been found I think Casey is holding over the grandparents head the rights to Caylee's remains. When or if Casey has JB let GA and CA have the remains, then I think the power ends up shifting a bit back toward the grandparents.


I think for the sanity of the grandparents, it's better for them NOT to visit Casey anymore in jail. Why should they let Casey manipulate them anymore?

I agree that they are better off not visiting Casey. In that video that was recently released there Cindy is just crying and crying and all Casey could talk about was her poor self. She could have cared less about the pain her parents are going through. You can tell that George and Cindy can only take so much of her at one time as they passed the phone back and forth to each other at critical times.

I think that Casey is behind Caylee's remains not being released too. She knows how much that would hurt her parents. It's hard to believe that Cindy still believes that Casey is innocent after all of the evidence. If she really believes that why isn't she out there telling people to find the real killer????

I think that it is now the same as it's always been. GUILT. It's just the circumstances around the guilt that change. I would be willing to bet that everything that has ever gone wrong in her life, has been someone elses fault. If she got a bad grade in school it was because something went wrong at home (an argument between G & C or someone hurt her feelings or wouldn't let her have some trinket, whatever) And because you love someone and maybe do have some things to feel guilty for, and because these people are not normal, they can get enraged and have a total meltdown over some little something, you let them get away with it. I'ts easier that way because no matter how hard you try to explain your side of the matter it never gets through to them. They can only see their side. They will scream and holler, cry until they get sick, yell to embarrass you in front of strangers or the neighbors anything to get their way or to win an argument.They will lie to win an argument, get out of any situation no matter how trivial, and have no guilt or shame doing so. They will take your last dime and never feel bad about it. They feel as though the world owes them for the way that they have been shortchanged in life. And if they have to lie , steal, cheat, or hurt those that love them to get what they want , that's life. To them that is .We have a similar behaviour situation with one of my siblings children. I love her and pray for her often.

You must have met the granddaughter that I raised!! Sounds just like her when she was a bratty teenager. Thank God she has grown up and has apologized over and over to me for the way she treated me a lot of the time.
The last time she was in court at age 17 yrs she even told the judge that she was going to treat her grandmother better. I wasn't with her cause I refused to go. Didn't visit her in Juvy either! She's a great kid at 20 yrs now..a different person... so there is hope for your niece too.

Do you think that the defense is going to try and use Casey's upbringing as part of her defense? Seems like every defense trys that but it doesn't seem to work as an excuse for murder. I would think that Casey would have to take the stand and tell her sad story of how she was abused by her mother and that her dad quit his job in LE or got fired because of ?? The jury won't have a choice but to listen if this happens but I think there is enough evidence against Casey to hang her anyway. All the Pros has to do is talk about the evidence...how long it was before Casey's mother called 911...not Casey making the call...the stuff on the computer...the lies about a Nanny that didn't even exist...etc, and then show the video on Utube of all the pictures of little Caylee and Casey will be toast. There wouldn't be a dry eye in that whole courtroom after watching the Utube video of Caylee's pictures.
I had to stop watching it because I just sit and cry over that little precious girl. It's just to depressing.

Nothing is being held over anyones heads - it's called parents who acted more like friends than parents - this should be a lesson for all those parents who do this sort of thing!

That is correct, and IMO they need to stop coddling her. They should visit the jail no matter whos listening and tell her off for once. They are "enablers"

I would love to see that...It would just thrill me to see Cindy and George stand up to her and let her have it ..tell her that she made her bed now lay it...
