I wish too! But, isn't CM obliged to stay? Baez requires a death penalty qualified attorney to remain on the team.:waitasec:

Since when has Mr. Baez done what he was supposed to do?? :cow:

Hmm - you are correct - is Finnell qualified?

I would think she is! Although, I think her main role was to argue the death penalty after conviction.

Not overly sure she plans on defending casey...(smart lady)

Who is Deputy Cain again? The guy who ignored Kronks first three calls?

Fantastic!! It isn't LKB..hmm, would a witness' attorny or the Anthony' attorney be obliged to file anything with the court?

NEED a lawyer in here to tell us how this works..hehe

And what is with all those Motions in Limine shown in the news thread? Will all of those have to be argued in court? They want to restrict info that KC is a known liar? Didn't they try some of these already with JS?

What is a motion in limine? Why do they want the knife, Tony's testimony (on how much of a skag she was) thrown out?

I'd think they'd be relevant to the case?

I am not a lawyer, but I can tell you the reason the lawyer files this with the court is so that anyone subpoenaing him to testify at trial needs to know not to contact him through the prior lawyer anymore, that is all.

If I recall correctly it wasn't a skull Kronk was saying he saw the first few times, but a suspicious bag...

It's been such a long 2 years, my memory is fading with all the little details

Got this as a reply to a DM to WFTV on Twitter:

"Attorney for Deputy Cain withdrew from the case. We'll take a look at the motions. Thanks!"

But but but.....we DON'T care about Deputy Cain OR his lawyer.....:cursing::tsktsk:

It's Christmas - I want a BIG present!!!:innocent: :rolling:

From [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_limine"]Wiki:[/ame]

Motion in limine (Latin: "at the threshold") is a motion made before the start of a trial requesting that the judge rule that certain evidence may, or may not, be introduced to the jury in a trial. This is done in judge's chambers, or in open court, but always out of hearing of the jury. If a question is to be decided in limine, it will be for the judge to decide. Usually it is used to shield the jury from possibly inadmissible and unfairly prejudicial evidence.

It might be relevant but it's a defense motion -:waitasec:

Two days before the baby's bones were found, Baez is on TV divulging his defense strategy. Times haven't changed.

[I cringe every time I hear NG refer to ICA as "tot mom." There is nothing "mom" about her. She was Caylee's biological mother, yes, but that does not a "mom" make!!!]

As far as the defense strategy goes, at this point in time I believe it begins with, "Bend over...."
