This is a good speculation. If Casey had made it a habit to leave Caylee in the vacant apartment, a pedophile may have taken notice and either abducted Caylee or harmed her there. This would explain a few things, such as Casey returning to Sawgrass with LE and pointinng out the vacant apartment; Casey panicking, knowing it was her fault that something happened to Caylee while alone in the apartment;, Casey being unwilling to tell her mom, or anyone else, why she had left her child unattended, and trying on her own to find out who either took or killed her child.
But, I guess the decomposition odor in the car doesn't tie in with this theory.
Yes. I don't think there's a need to make this case any more complicated than it already is. She took Caylee with her to boyfriend's houses in the last months of her life and CA is either lying about not calling up KC because she doesn't want to make it seem that she thought Kc was a bad mom, or she doesn't remember (she could not remember many things during the interview), or KC did not want more screaming from her mom about Caylee not being home in her own bed. No trunk, no repeated drugging, none of that, IMHO!Quote: "I'm sure Caylee just went home that one night and Cindy just forgot. Or maybe Casey didn't tell her and just got up early and went to meet Caylee in the morning and Cindy didn't even notice."
I agree. Nothing so sinister or nefarious (you all have lively imaginations though lol) Probably CA didn't have to call and specifically TELL Casey she expected Caylee to sleep at home in her bed--Casey just KNEW her mom would be PO'd if she woke up--and saw no Caylee. I think she invented Zanny the nanny earlier before Caylee was missing to account for those times she slept over at guys' places w Caylee and didn't want CA to know she had Caylee in some guy's bed (like w Ricardo et al).

It's news to me that a evidence of a live Caylee was in the trunk. I do know that her body was in the trunk, however. I really, really think this was a planned killing. But Caylees DNA is in the trunk, as well as evidence of decomposition. I have read that there is evidence that both a LIVE Caylee and a deceased Caylee were were in that trunk.
ETA: I surely don't think it happened much though. One time in that trunk in the hot florida weather... that's all it would take IMO. I don't know what I think happened.... I hope she didn't suffer. But I'm just sayin'.
the car was nosed into the area very close to the dumpster at AmScot where the tow driver had said he thought it was odd.
didnt think about the florida heat...but kc was leaving caylee somewhere.... AHA!just had a thought while typing this.
any chance she kept running out of petrol from having the air con running in her car to keep it cooler for caylee?
I think she left her there at night time. No maintenance, no one showing the model apartment. Also, I think I remember from some video clip of the model apartment on the news, that it was furnished. Voila.....a home away from home.
I don't think she was using the apt at Sawgrass because it was too visible, BUT I think you're onto something that could also answer the question that's been driving me insane, which is WHERE HAS KC BEEN SPENDING HER DAYS FOR THE LAST 24 - 30 MONTHS when she was allegedly working and/or leaving Caylee with a sitter?
There's no way she's been sitting in her parked car in some parking lot for 2 years, baking in the heat, reading a book, with an active toddler in the back seat. That would be hell, especially for someone like KC who can't even tolerate the inconvenience of having a job.
Besides that, her car with that black vinyl/leather br@ on the front of it, would be noticed eventually. And she hasn't spent 2 years wandering the malls every day with a baby, or clerks would have come forward.
So how is it that she's managed to leave home with or without Caylee for 2 years and simply vanish?
I think YOU hit on the answer. She's found a secluded house, mobile home, or even a camper in the woods that she could break into--or perhaps convince an absentee owner to let her "take care of"--or a gullible male realtor to let her use.
What do you think? Oh and sorry for the caps. I was excited.
It's news to me that a evidence of a live Caylee was in the trunk. I do know that her body was in the trunk, however. I really, really think this was a planned killing.
Based on the recent evidence, here is my best theory.
There is no third party nanny. Caylee was only ever watched by Casey, or Cindy.
Casey was using her trunk as a babysitter, possibly using Zanax. When should couldn't get any Zanax (no money maybe), she looked up Chloroform on the computer. Probably the week after her Mother ended her vacation and she had to go back watching Caylee. By this time, Casey was with Tony and wanted to continue going to the club and managing the shot girls.
So, Caylee was drugged and put in the trunk. I believe that due to the change to Chloroform after maybe having previous used Xanax, or that casey didn't know how much probably made the child vomit while unconscious and she died from asphyxiation.
The stain was from vomit. They now know how she was laying in the trunk.
I'm trying to wrap my head around all the new evidence, so please bear with me. I haven't seen this posted yet with regards to the new docs so...
Okay so we know that Ricardo states that on May 31st, Casey and Caylee sleepover at his apartment. He wakes up the next morning and Casey is there but NO Caylee. Casey tells him that Cindy called in the middle of the night wanting her to bring Caylee home. Sounded believable to me - knowing how protective Cindy seems to be over Caylee.
BUT today in Cindy's recorded interview, she states that this never occurred. She seems quite sure of this. And it does seem like something you would proabably remember - calling your daughter in the middle of the night to bring your granddaughter home. For this reason, I believe her.
Which leaves one to wonder.....where WAS Caylee then? So here on this thread I've seen alot of speculation about where she could have been taking Caylee....or putting Caylee....or whether any of it is true to begin with, or whether Cindy is lying. I have my own theory which doesn't fit into any of the above. I can hardly bring myself to think this, much less type it out. But I think you'll get the idea.
The thought first entered my mind after hearing Cindy's interview. But after seeing what types of searches have been done on Casey's computer (sex, escorts, etc.) as well as something PotatoHead posted in another thread (sorry I can't reference it specifically because my brain is fried)........I believe that Casey could have been passing Caylee off to someone else. I don't want to get too detailed or whatever....but someone, a very, very bad bad bad man. Someone who would do unspeakable things to Caylee, and perhaps Casey was paid for this? Could this explain where Caylee is now, and why Casey will not tell? Becuase if she tells where Caylee is.....she goes to jail period (if what I am thinking is true). BUT if she doesn't tell where Caylee is, then perhaps she could get found not guilty if there isn't evidence. I'm just thinking out loud here. That is assuming Caylee could still be alive. Okay so maybe she actually isn't alive....(which I believe she is NOT alive). In that case, maybe something horrible happened on one of these "exchanges", possibly involving chloroform that someone else used to knock Caylee out for their own reasons (you get my meaning?).
I hope I haven't just totally confused anyone. I'm confused myself. It's 5am here - my mind is reeling with all the information I've read through/watched. And there are still so many pieces of the puzzle missing. Please let me know your thoughts on this - punch holes in my theory if you can (please do, I don't want to be right!!!).
And doesn't it seem odd to anyone else that amy and ricardo are now a thing....I dont know about them but isnt that taboo dating someone a friend has dated....I dont know maybe im wrong but something is def off with amy's interview and tony's something just seems to much to point at casey....maybe im dumb....
Sorry - just wanted to expand a bit on the post above...So, if we're talking about 6 nights...Here are some of the options that we've looked at (and a couple of others):
1. In the car. Either on the floorboard of the backseat area - covered perhaps with a blanket or in the trunk. Parked in a remote/un-trafficked area. Does anyone know if with that car model the back seats can be lowered to created a "hatchback" type effect? If so, she could have been lowering the seats, positioning Caylee in the trunk area while still allowing air circulation to the trunk.
2. In an abandoned/empty appartment. The empty suite that ZG supposedly lived in or the model suite - both at the Sawgrass.
3. At the oveido house. Less convenient as KC would have had to have driven Caylee out there and then gotten back to wherever she was going but still, perhaps possible for a night or two.
She may well have found a couple of different solutions rather than only one.
Again...Just thinking out loud here.
