When I saw the posts about "essential oils" and their possible connection, I immediately thought, "What about body oils, in general, that many people use when bathing/showering?" For all we know, Ms. Houston could have slipped while getting into or out of the tub due to the greasy, oily residue left by whatever oils she might have used. Many women put body oils into the tub while they bathe, but I put lotions/oils on after I've had my bath or shower and while my skin is still wet. This allows for deeper absorption of the skin-softening agents in these products. The use of any oil-based skin product in the bathtub or shower is an accidental slip-and-fall waiting to happen. jmo

That's what I am thinking she may have added an essential oil to the olive oil. IMO olive oil stinks and who would want to smell like that?
I wonder if the gravy boat was tested. looks like the PD left it there.
It could have been evidence... OR NOT.

It's just really ODD the same thing happened to her daughter the night before. It sure sounds like Whitney passed out in the tub way to often.
Not in bed or in a chair like I would think most people wasted out of their mind do...
I think there is more to this than simply drowning form an overdose.

says that Ray J is being investigated by police in connection with Whitney's death. The article and the comments below it have information that I have not heard before. The article says he had been with her in the four days prior to her death. I wondered if that was the case because: 1) Initially reports came out that HE was the one who found her body and then his reps quickly said he wasn't there. 2) I had heard that Whitney and Bobbi Kristina were sharing a room at the hotel, then I heard that Bobbi Kristina had a separate room. I think Ray J may be the key to this and may be the reason Whitney is dead. Maybe Nancy Grace isn't so wrong after all. Her prosecutor mind went immediately to foul play. I wouldn't expect the police to immediately come out and say foul play was suspected, especially if they thought Ray J. had something to do with it. Seems like they would want him to think they didn't suspect him at all. Just thinking out loud and my opinion only, of course.

Those interviews are going to blow you away. The first two are about 10 minutes long and the third about five minutes long. Wendy Williams asks questions point blank that other people were too afraid to ask. And Whitney didn't appreciate it.

I don't recall much local coverage about the filming of "Sparkle". Looks like it wrapped up in November. That said, there was a lot of local news coverage when Drew Barrymore was in town filming "Whippet".

Uh, I made it through 1 and 3. I'll listen to 2 after I check Bette's link above. OMG! She really hit the streets. So much denial through words, lots of words, but none of it was really there. (IE. She has God, her mother, father, family members, blah blah blah, it's all good, but she was a fighting trash mouth! And messed up.) How did she keep from going to jail?

ETA: Okay, I'm going back in, for 2. I must love punishment.

Back again. Wow, if you're going to listen to them might as well do all. It will taint any views you previously had though. She really cannot see her own life at that point, total denial and defensiveness. Drugging through having to see reality. Oddly she was 40 at this time and really still thought like a much younger person.

I am sorry I don't know how to post a photo-but its in the pack of pics where I think she got into the car when leaving the night club-her head is back and her eyes are rolled back and mouth open...there looks to be a man's hand on her shoulder.

He is a bodyguard, as he was seen in many pictures, the woman might be a female bodyguard, as it was reported that she had a female bodyguard as well, as I am sure a lot of female stars have them also, makes sense.

The woman is Snoop Dog's wife Shante. She is related to Ray J somehow.

Winter confirmed to TheWrap that there were "not a lot" of pills found in Houston's room.

A small assortment of medications were found in Houston's suite at the Beverly Hilton hotel following her Feb. 11 death, though nothing that would set off alarms: The anti-anxiety medicine Xanax, the painkiller ibuprofen, the menstrual cramp treatment Midol, and amoxicillin, which is used to treat bacterial infections, were reportedly found in the room, with the bottles containing few pills.
 
With her 'premonitions' I am leaning more towards suicide now more than ever.

I keep trying to come up with anything BUT suicide... however I am of the same opinion. She was quoting Bible verses and reportedly saying she wanted to meet Jesus.
In some of the videos I've seen over the past few days, the way she was hugging people it just felt (to me) like she was in goodbye mode.
I wonder who called who when she spoke to her mother and Dionne.

It is often hard to determine an overdose. Intentional or accidental.
WH was acting just sooo erratic. She IMO was displaying overly destructive behavior. She was a mess and was not paying attention to her hygiene or grooming. It was reported she smelled like alcohol and cigarettes.
I wonder how many times she behaved like this with press around in the past.
Specifically before the Grammies/ and other award ceremonies.:waitasec:
 
If someone did clean up meds (or street drugs) in order to try to protect her reputation it will be shown in the tox screens at autopsy.

Sad for any life to end this way. But, sadly a lot of addicts do succumb to their addiction. One way or another. Either by actively using, using after a period of sobriety and they don't realize that their tolerance isn't the level it was prior to that period of sobriety or they like a my own grandmother just continue until their body shuts down on them.

Addiction being a disease of the mind, body and spirit causes so much pain for everyone, not just the addicted. Rest in Peace Whitney.

I have not heard about premonitions. Can you elaborate or point me to where this is posted. BTW those interviews with Wendy are the saddest thing I have ever heard. And to be coming from WH herself and they were 8 years ago. So sad. tia

And it was reported that on Friday she appeared in mis matched clothes wandering around the hotel. She has been using drugs a very long time it seems and it has had to do a job on her mind. Drugs and alcohol are so depressing. Just makes me sad for anyone. She had a great voice, a gift, but she was still just another human being who by all accounts was frail just like all of us. jmo
