She's sure holdin her own in this interview, and you know the guy is lieing through his teeth, becasue if he had "scientific proof" that Patsy murdered Jon Bennet, he would have already arrested her!

The perp sometimes is at an advantage in these situations because they actually know what happened. When LE bluffs, they can jump all over it.

But let's face it, the Ramsey's knew exactly what BPD did or didn't have because Alex Hunter office was about as leak proof as a spaghetti strainer. Patsy acted confident because her lawyers told her too. Big difference from her first interview right?

Why do you say that? Of course it's been almost 20yrs. since it happened but as I remember it everytime they gave an iterview, if not always, the majority of the time Patsy was the one that spoke. She came across as a take charge kind of person.

Patsy gained confidence with time. For the first few weeks she was a broken depressed drug addict. She almost broke several times as it was.

Patsy knew the lay of the land and I promise you her lawyers did a dress rehearsal before she ever spoke to those guys. She knew that if they really had anything they would have already arrested her instead of just threatening her.

That tape is from June of 1998.

This is interesting too!

Linda Arndt's interview provides insight, however, I think Patsy would have said whatever she needed to say to keep the window to the world all rosy.

Also, if Patsy told Arndt information relative to the case, did Arndt take it LE or keep it to herself. Apparently, it didn't pan out or else it pointed fingers at someone who could not be charged for one reason or another.

I can't see Patsy giving up any information that would make anyone in the family look bad and my take on Arndt's interview was that Patsy disclosed to Arndt information that could be put with other data to develop a suspect.

The Grand Jury indicted John and Patsy Ramsey. That speaks volumes to me.

TexasTuff, if Patsy had been interested in advancing the investigation she wouldn't have waited four months to permit herself to be interviewed. Never, ever, have I heard of an innocent parent who didn't immediately cooperate with the investigation and do what they asked for in the way of statements or assistance.

Who waits four long months before letting LE know what information they may have that would advance the investigation?

See: Kate and Gerry McCann, or as I like to call them, Ramsey Lite.

What kind of information did they have to go on? The DNA from Jon Benet's underwear didn't match any of the Ramsey's, and what if they did find any of their DNA on Jon Benet, WTH? they live in the house, I'll bet my DNA is all over mine.

Chief Kolar's book explains that there were several unsourced DNA samples left in incriminating places.

The DNA has been cussed and discussed here until the cows came home and went back. Lots of good info here easily found with the search function. No sense in repeating what is already available.

Patsy Ramsey: "If she got up in the night and ran into somebody, it was somebody there that wasn't supposed to be there. I don't know what transpired after that, whether it was an accident, intentional, premeditated, or whatnot. But it was not one of her three family members that were also in that house."

Patsy slips constantly, she can't help herself. There was a stranger hiding in her home who sexually assaulted and brutally murdered her daughter and she is not sure if what transpired was an "accident?" Or "whatnot?" There is not any part of this answer that rings true.

John Ramsey recalls trying to shield his son from media coverage

"JonBenét Ramsey: Inside the Mystery" also featured the first TV interview with Burke, now 28, who said he has moved on since the tragedy."

So how much did the Ramsey's make off this interview?
Appearance plus $s for copyrighted footage?
Cross promotion with the PA book?

BR has been saying he is over his sister's death since as early as January 8, 1997. Or, in his own words, "getting on with my life," as told to Dr. Bernhard. These new documentaries shouldn't make it seem like he's just now coming to terms with things.

Okay, so, with his appearance, does BR now become a public figure?

How Does Labeling a Person a Public Figure Affect a Defamation Case? If an individual is labeled as a public figure, they usually cannot sue others for defamation unless there was actual malice (i.e. false statements were knowingly or purposely made). -

Heyya Fides,

also the verb tenses are disjointed within her proclamations

How can you honestly fault someone for not being seasoned at being interviewed?

My husband was in Law Enforcement for 31yrs. and he had an old Sheriff tell him one time, "If the FBI ever wants to interview you, ask them if they have a warrant for your arrest and if they say no tell them to go to Hades because they very well may be trying to implicate you in something. And never take a lie detector test because their not admissable in court and sometimes they can produce false positive readings."

Probably in the early part of all this the Ramsey lawyers probably told them the same thing about the Boulder City Police dept.
