Well isn't this interesting...would curtail Cindy's money-making enterprises.

ETA: WTH!!!!!!!!!!!!! $500,000 ftom Dr. Phil. Are you kidding me?!?!

Umm - didn't we know that already? And if this is the FBI investigating CA theory - the article sounded to me like wishful speculation and hype only.

PS - Donated to their new foundation.

One can only hope that CA would be investigated and brought to account for her actions in enabling Caylee's killer to go free but ... I am not holding my breath.

Like FCA ... CA seems to push the boundaries and get away with it time and time again. She did so on the basis of a 'grieving grandmother' and now she is going to cash in the same way.

I think this 'news' is more championing the cause for what's right rather than actuality ... like Florida State I can see the FBI wanting to cut its losses and move on and ... far far away from these people.

Of course they want to 'launder' money through their charitable foundation and then obscure it in the accounting ... they learnt from the KFN practices IMO.

I saw it in the Dr Phil thread in the Parking Lot forum. It may be new to those who didn't go down to that thread. And I agree with your comment.

I guess I gotta spend more time in the basement. Thanks, Ranch!

I know there was some post on TMZ or somewhere that $450,000 was rejected by the A's as not enough (!?!?!), allegedly, so $500,000 paid into their foundation and a Jeep seems like it was the tipping point for them.

I guess Caylee's life was worth this to them and now they can move on...

:rose: Caylee Marie RIP :rose:

ETA: I guess the $500,000 offer to FCA from Flynt set the baseline for the price and, Dr Phil said I will match that price and raise you a Jeep

Thanks ... I need to laugh else I would stress out :maddening: and cry :banghead:.

Pre-trial we always said that the 3-ring circus could not get more crazy ... and it did. This trend continued onward relentlessly with JB's OS at trial and then with the post release 'Where is FCA?' and probation gamesmanship.

Sometimes things never change ... the A's will out compete each other to ensure that they make the most $$$$$$$ out of this tragic incident.

They used Caylee to squabble over in life and they are using Caylee in death. :twocents:

:waitasec: When, where, will it ever end? Justice for Caylee Marie?

I agree and your statements are so true! I keep asking myself - what am I doing here on this website so religiously and so relentlessly? I still check it several times a day - I still check the news threads first - and for what?

What is it I am looking for? I know it's over - I know the verdict - but I still have this sense of frustration and unease and futility - I want or need something else to happen so I can keep the place in my heart that's Caylee but just move on.

Then someone like you, or LambChop or one of the others says something I laugh at - and I think - it's okay - it's alright - I feel better for now..

And you are right - if I'm not laughing - then I think about being here and I still feel like crying...I don't know how long it is going to take...I really don't.

BBM - Ohhh we haven't seen the last of them. They are going to have their hands out looking for a donation on any show that will have them. Dr. Phil (I hate calling him that because I think he is a Charleton) is just the first of their 'give me money' tour.

I don't know why anyone would pay to hear them lie. It's all on youtube for free. One of many examples...the detectives are begging Cindy to stop lying (I'm paraphrasing but that's the message I got). When she gets caught in a lie she reverts back to the poor grieving grandmother. I don't know how they sleep at night.

No bigger truth has ever been posted on the subject of Caylee.

As sad as it is, a thank you was just not enough.

I am the same, logicalgirl, still checking and waiting for...what? I can't believe she was acquitted. I can't believe no one will be held accountable for Caylee's death. I can't believe people are being paid for covering up a crime. So I check and i wait, thinking some natural laws of justice will prevail. But so far, they don't.

So, if KC is angry that JG is writing a book, then I am glad he is writing a book. If any of KC's (or the A's for that matter) perceived enemies make money from this case, then I am glad they will make money. Anything that wipes the smirk off her nasty face is good in my books.

I am disgusted that Caylee's grandparents are making money from her death via their 'foundation'. I am disgusted that Dr. Phil's ego is so huge he thinks he can wring truth from their lying necks. But if them being paid by Dr Phil annoys KC, or if what they say on the interview I will NOT be watching annoys her, then I can live with that too. Anything that makes her feel bad is a small crumb of justice for Caylee's death.

However, I fear she is in cahoots with them still, and some of the money they make will be funnelled to her. Nothing would surprise me now. Nothing. Caylee RIP.

Casey Anthony's ex-fiance plans tell-all book: Are you buying it?

"Would you like to help Casey Anthony’s ex-fiance turn a profit?"

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/nat...s-to-write-a-tell-all-are-you-buying-it-.html

I'm all for anyone writing a book as long as it's not any of the As because I'm sick and tired of them using Caylee as their ATM machine. They are the ones that lied repeatedly for years to get that monster off. They got what they wanted, now go away please and take your murdering daughter with you.

Maybe the State of Florida wants to move on but not the FBI. They have a habit of enlisting the IRS in their investigations, and that is one tough tenacious merciless agency:floorlaugh:.Both of them love grandstanding. Good for PR. And cost of prosecuting is no object for these folks.JMO.

Hi Lampchop! :seeya:

"Contingency", IMO, can also be a percentage of $ she earns off a book deal, pics, video's etc. I was trying to put a positive spin on a comment :loser: The State of Florida should have their nose in each and every dime she makes off of Caylee's death. FCA has been declared "indigent", but we all know she is making $ somehow. They might be holding it for her, but IMO, they are not doing this for FREE. Those attorney's are in bed with her, so to speak, and are waiting for their big pay day too. There is nothing "pro-bono", everything has a price tag. Unfortunately, it's all off the murder of little Caylee. There is something sick, maybe even on the verge of illegal, in the way these "attorney's" are handling the Felon and her finances. Like I said, she can't have it both ways, "something" has got to catch up with her. :maddening:

Not sure that is legal. Say Attorney Green represented her in the civil case and he normally would have charged a client $20,000. If KC came into money and Attorney Green said he would take 30% of what she made and she made 5 million she would probably be suing him next. lol

If KC makes money off of pictures, interviews, books she would have to be charged a normal rate same as any other client. Now JB as her "broker" can take a percentage, I think, if they agree to that because it's outside of the court room. Not sure they can do contingency for a civil trial that is not a personal injury case. Good question for the Legal thread. lol

In the end any pictures, interviews, book deals will have to be reported to the IRS and these people have to tell IRS who was paid. If JB takes in that money, he'll be paying taxes on it. If he is not careful he could have the same problem as TM. KC will only let him handle the money for so long and when she tires of him, his books better be perfect. jmo

TMZ reported that the Anthonys laughed at 250G from a syndicated talk show.

The network bidding war over key interviews in the Casey Anthony case has gone into the stratosphere ... because TMZ has learned a syndicated talk show was laughed at with a bid of $250,000 for Casey's PARENTS!!!

I actually think people are more curious about Casey's parents than they are about her.
What is FCA going to say that would be interesting and that anyone would actually believe? She isn't going to talk about her location, or the trial so what is she going to talk about that wouldn't be lies?

At least George and Cindy are bound to give some kind of a performance that can be picked apart and talked about - as usual. Seriously....

I can pretty much guess what they're going to say.

We just want to know the truth.
FCA loved that child.
We're grieving grandparents.
We wanted to commit suicide.
FCA was an excellent mother.

One thing is for sure, they will not tell the truth. Everything will be vague. Cindy may be able to squeeze out a tear every now and then.

Then they'll plug charity number 3 and hope the donations come pouring in.

I can only speak for myself, but I'm not "curious" in the least about the Anthonys. As they should have done with the protesters, but didn't, they need to stop calling attention to themselves, retreat and hush.

Amazing that they didn't care to have a voice for Caylee, but yet they never seem to shut up.

Their "story" has been told, but more importantly, they have shown the public their story and what they're all about and it always ends in the letters "l-i-e" and/or "m-o-n-e-y". It's shameful.
