Did Jane K or whatever her last name that is a coorespondant on ng elaborate on being in the elevator with him when he was leaving? Meaning did she comment on his demeanor or how he presented himself?

Plus....when JP asked if there was anything else that they wanted to add, he was looking at the defense, I think I heard some kind of grunt come from CM and the judge held up his hand as if to say...don't go there....

and then they all left.

I don't think that the judge would accept his leaving because they had a spat. No. Whatever reason JB gave, it was compelling enough for JP to comply.

right thanks. more than one way to skin a cat! i don't think he would have told the judge that; obviously he would have told the judge something reasonable. i'm telling ya...there's a Casey problem, is my guess, no matter what he tells the judge.

Sorry I haven't read all 24 pages but he probably went to the Law Library to look up a motion that he hasn't used yet...PLOY!

What a silly thing to do...Sending out a text message that says nothing (further confuses) and accomplishes nothing. Oh yeah...I forgot JB sent it!

Well, but if JB is no longer on the case, all the more reason to continue today and not lose court hours...

Well, the judge is the one who left everything hanging for speculation...the way he halted the proceedings without a word...JB could not have known how that would play out.

What difference would it make right now if Caylee's bio dad was found?
That wouldn't be an emergency, would it?

I do not think this is the reason for the delay simply because if Caylee's bio Dad had in fact been found, it is not enough reason to delay the process currently under way. JMO.

after rewatching im going to renew my opinion that she did get let jb go. There was an intense conversation between young female lawyer and casey that seemed more like a q and a. and casey didnt seem to care if the convo was secret or not cuz she didnt cover her mouth once during the whole exchange. then the long sidebar where jp comes back recesses for lunch and appears to be reading a note folded up on legal paper. could that be casey informing judge of her decision to let lead council go?? I have been getting the vibe that she was going to let him go since their falling out. I think i even opined that in one of these threads somewhere last week. That would be a private matter and would also not prevent jury selection from continuing in the morning if she chose to let mason now be her lead council. all imo.

Also note in his "cryptic" text......he said stop speculating and also jury selection will continue tomorrow at 8:30am....NEVER did he say he would be there! Oh.....wait a minute......he must be VERY sick to leave during jury selection for a death penalty case....so he may not know if he'll be there tomorrow......

Just speculating........ maybe they found Caylee's bio dad and they just told Casey and DT already knew they found Caylee's dad.

and maybe Pros. could not say anything.

I caught that too. But when I went back and watched it again (and again and again and again) it seemed that maybe his court clerk (off to his right) was trying to get his attention and he shifted his eyes to the right and held his hand up and shook it back and forth once to let her know - not now. Then he looks back out toward the courtroom.

Why didn't JB leave Pinellas? That's what's bugging the me.

I watched the live stream and just watched the video again...

FWIW - I believe KC was as taken back by JB's sudden departure as any of us were. So...I don't feel that it has anything to do with him quitting, her firing him, a plea deal or such...

All MOO and I can't wait to find out the real reason; however, IMOO it is nothing to do with this case or KC.

O.M.G. This better not be what happened. Do lawyers usually schedule other things during a high profile death penalty case?? That makes no sense.

Do you really think ANYTHING he does or doesn't do makes sense? Come on......:floorlaugh:

I'm thinking this possibly could be the case. So would CM be lead attorney then?

And when did Frank George join the Pros.? I must have been living under a rock when that happened.

Not sure about her, but there was a guy on maybe JVM earlier that had a convo with JB right before he left. The guy said JB seemed like his normal self - smiling, joking and what not. He said it was while the rest of the DT was having lunch.
