On Nov. 22, 1988, Brian Douglas Jehn's remains were located in a wooded area south of Mosinee not far from Highway 51. Jehn was last seen on September 23, 1988 at a bar in Wausau. Jehn was beaten to death. Jehn, of Wausau, WI, was 38 years old at the time of his death.

"Brian Jehn's body was found by deer hunters in a grassy marsh off Balsam Road, 200 feet north of a Wisconsin Public Service Corp. landfill site, in south central Marathon County. The body was probably at the site for two or three months before it was found...Jehn's family reported Brian missing Sept. 21, 1988. They told the sheriff's department they had not seen him since July 1988"
