GMAFB...
Has she seen her son's FB pic, with the gun in his hands? She can go pound sand.
Or some other things!!!!!!She can go pound sand.
I read something different in that same article (snipped):
"Potter told her friend that as she and her husband moved the belongings because the teens just ‘sat in her bedroom...and ordered food and didn’t really communicate’ with her.'"
Call me sour, but it will come out, MOO, that M was a LOT of trouble and many inappropriate things had been going on - such as the parents allowing the daughter to have a live-in teen lover who had been doing criminal things - my bet, she was out of control for a long time and the parents, not being trashy, were unable to control it. Not victim blaming them, just feel sorry for them as this must have been miserable to have tried to deal with . JMO based on seeing this too many times with wild teens.
Teen suspect behind murder of University of Wisconsin professor was kicked out of her house | Daily Mail Online
I agree completely. Never in a million years would my parents have allowed me to have a live in lover when I was in high school or even college. And they never would have allowed me to date anyone with a criminal record. It must have been a terrible situation.
Oh, it's only 100,000 to bail him out! Whoever contributes to this may as well say bye bye to their money.Or some other things!!!!!!
Hopefully, the 10% is the minimum figure given by bondsmen to defendants who are considered a low flight risk.Oh, it's only 100,000 to bail him out! Whoever contributes to this may as well say bye bye to their money.
Does the posting of a 'surety' bond at ten percent guarantee release, or can a judge require a higher percentage in some cases? Hopefully, a Wisconsin judge a judge can still deny a ten percent surety bond if they feel the totality of crcumstances warrant it.Wisconsin does not have a for-profit bail industry, so no bail bondsmen. But... there is something called a '10% surety bond' that allows a friend or family member to pay 10% of the original amount. Maybe that is why Sanford's mother was trying to raise 100K.
Also from the AA..
“WITH POLICE AND UNTRUTHFUL STATEMENTS
On March 31, City of Madison Police Detective Jamie Grann and Detective Grimyser conducted an interview of Miriam who was identified verbally, at the University of Wisconsin Police Department station. Miriam stated to Detectives Grann and Grimyser that her adoptive parents, Beth Potter and Robin Carre, had rented her an Air BNB unit at 213 Sunny Meade Lane, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, for the past 2-1/2 weeks while she looked for a permanent apartment.”
Hmmmm
March 8 she sends him the gun photo. Parents murdered on March 30. AA says she said they have been in the AirBnB for 2 1/2 weeks. Maybe 18 days before murder. So a few days before they are moved out of the family home, she resends to KS a threatening picture of him pointing a gun...from months before.”
He was also living with her at this time...but still that picture from months ago was re-sent from Miriam to him. Why?
“Miriam said her boyfriend who she identified as Khari Sanford had been living with her at her current temporary residence and he had also been staying at her parents’ residence for two weeks prior to her moving out. Miriam said that she loved her boyfriend, and she was extremely loyal to him.
Miriam told Detective Grann that her parents had allowed her to use their Volkswagen minivan.”

In the end, ten percent of a million is not that hard to raise for anybody who has access to a combination of home equity and a 401K account. This can lead to extremely dangerous people being street released with low bond (true bond is only 100K if a ten percent surety amount must be accepted).
I would hope that Judge Hanson would require more than 10% surety bond if he could. I listened to the judge's decision, and he truly recognized how dangerous Khari et al. are and seemed invested in keeping them in jail for the time being.
Khari's mother probably does not have the personal resources to pay the surety bond, hence the crowd funding request. What worries me is that a few community leaders here in Madison requested that Khari be released into their custody. Hopefully they will change their minds after reading the criminal complaint and realize just how dangerous he really is.
From my reading across social media....I doubt this is going to happen. These leaders possess a world view that Khari has been victimized by society and therefore this is not his fault. He is a wonderful young man that should be allowed to pursue his dreams and go into politics...not be punished for something that society forced him to do.
He is getting a lot of sympathy from these community leaders who somehow see him as a future community leader like themselves.
